I love the PVC version I bought last year. Here I'm wearing them at Reading Festival last weekend. The guys behind me look slightly bemused - maybe they hate my jeans but hey, I got quite a few compliments from complete strangers too. People seem to think they're hot to wear but actually they're not. In fact, they were quite cold after the sun went down.
Strictly speaking, they're not really proper skinnies since (a) they're not low-rise and (b) they do not cling to the ankle. The brand - Phaze Clothing - didn't have many options last year but now I see they have introduced a low-rise version. So it looks like I'll have to upgrade! :)
Looking at that pic I'm thinking: my hair needs to grow a LOT longer!

Haha! You may be right! I pretend to be totally relaxed but I do get slightly self-conscious inside if other people look at me when I'm wearing something a bit punky. Thanks for the support, Ted.

Actually, looking again, I think my hair looks shorter than it actually is in that pic because the long bits that normally hang in FRONT of my shoulders have got caught up BEHIND them instead. I KNOW my hair is longer than it looks in that pic but it's hiding!

Reminds me of last weekend where we had a picnic at one of our local commons.
There were six of us, three guys and three women. The three guys
all had hair that was longer than the women. I had a pair of those kinds of pants in the 1980s. I'm not sure what ever happened to them.
Cool dresser! Yeah, they're a conscious retro look nowadays. I love the 1980s look. I wish more people dressed like that today.

Yea hear ya on that statement as I was telling Raul in his thread above back in the 80s when I frequented the rock clubs it was almost hard to differentiate the band members from the fans in the audience.The guys and girls would dress to the nines in clubwear you likely wouldn't think of wearing in everyday life.lol.Oh, and it was so funny going into the restroom seeing the guys primping their hair in the mirrors!I don't do the clubs like I used to but when I do go you see none of that anymore:( How sad......

You know, you have given me some great ideas for a new retro, punk rocker, metal head style I want to try out. I think it will suit me pretty well. What do you think? If my photo doesn't show, I don't know why, because I keep trying to upload pics and they won't.
