Today I had one of those moments where I realize that I am a long hair:
I was sitting on the bus (right next to the window) and it was pretty warm outside so I opened it up.
There was a guy sitting next to me and the wind was blowing my hair towards the guy's face (Very funny situation).
Of course, this never happened to me when I had short hair but now I just forget that I am long haired and this happens almost all the time. I think its time to get used to that hahaha.
Hi Dave,
Thanks for posting this! I can just imagine seeing your hair blowing in that guy's face!
I am having my own moments of realizing my hair is getting longer. I am always having to brush my hair back out of my face now. Of course, this will most likely stop when my hair finally all hangs behind my shoulders.
I just combed my hair a minute ago and decided to look in the mirror. I just smiled and enjoyed how my hair is finally evening out that V shape I have. I think once that V is gone is when the hair will quit getting in my face so much. I guess the mullet stage is going away little by little:)
Keep it growing my friend!

I'm glad you are enjoying your hair, Ted - it sounds like it is coming in real nice and you are happy with it - It didn't look that shaggy in your last picture you posted - and remember, an official mullet - to my understanding, anyway - is when a guy grows his hair out long in the back but keeps it shorter on top and the sides. I had a friend who sported a mullet for years and years - it was long in the back and very curly on the ends but he kept it short on top and he wore it spiked -
Indeed. That's very different from, say, layered hair, or anyone growing out their hair all over.
Yes. Indeed, thats the way my hair grows. It grows in V shape. Its longer at the back, and shorter on the sides and grows in layers. But I like it. I know that when it gets longer, it will look amazing with the V shape.
Actually, many women go to the salon and pay for them to have that V shape, when I actually get it naturally hahaha. I used to hate it, but now I love it .
So this is how v-shape looks once it gets longer ( Could not find a men photo).
And this is mullet :
As you can see, two different stories. . So enjoy the V-Shape!
One more thing I forgot to mention: There is NO way to get rid of the V Shape (unless you get a haircut).
If you want your hair all the same length , you're gonna have to cut off the back part to even it out with the sides (because sides are shorter).
Thats the way that hair naturally grows and thats on our genes. Some people's hair naturally grows all one length, some others grow in v shape.
Scrolled way way down the board...
I absolutely agree with you. The V-Shape in the first picture looks awesome and I plan on keeping it, even when I get the hairstyle I desire. Should be no problem, except that it would look less like I originally wanted it to be.
Is this like waking up and realising you're middle aged? Also a surprise, but this is much better! :-)
