Your pic made it after all, and the hair is lookin' good!

Hi Don,
Thanks for the wonderful update! I must say your hair is coming along very nicely! The thickness is great! What is your goal length? I hope you grow it to at least mid-back length.
By the way, I enjoy reading your blog. Good stuff!

Thanks, Ted! (About the blog AND the hair...)
I don't have a well-defined length goal, but mid-back sounds about right. I'm now right about at that place you keep referring to, where your hair naturally starts hanging back past your shoulders, although as with you, the side layers are shorter.
As an aside, the other day I paid my monthly visit to my hairdresser for a re-growth colour. After asking me the mandatory 'do you want any cut?' to which I replied 'no,' she admitted that my ends were just fine, not overly dry and not split. Just to add my voice to all those who eschew regular trims because 'it makes the hair healthier.' I haven't submitted to a trim since about February.
Nu, a great Saturday nite and Sunday to all my North American friends!
Don
Hi Don,
Yes, once the hair hits that magic point where it is all hanging below the shoulders. I am about 4 inches from that point. I am so glad you said "no cut"! Also happy to hear your stylist is honest! No need to trim unless it's damaged or you insist on absolute having even ends. I am just letting mine all grow to a somewhat even length. I will not even anything out until I get to my first goal of mid-back length. Besides, I like the natural "fairytale" ends that form with no trimming. by the way, what color is that you have? Lovely color!
Hope your weekend is going well my friend!
Ted
It's a light brown but with warm tones (ie, a bit of red) thrown in. It seems to suit, although my daughter (18 years old, so she knows everything...) keeps pushing me to go for a dark chocolate brown. I'll keep this colour for now.
All the best...
Don
It doesn't matter the color Don. As long as it keeps growing! Although you would look great in just about any color I believe!
Take care, Ted
