I just watched a video about a man who cut his long hair shorter since mom doesn't like it on a talk show and she begged him 12 yrs to cut it. I feel its terrible that you should change due to fashion and due to others opinion. You should do what you want since its your own body and you change when you want to. I know he made decision to cut hair to please his mom but it feels in my mind its not going to help the negative comments on guys with long hair. Because guys like him let others control him and i get upset when i see stories like this. It's even bad when they have these stories on tv since viewers can think they can try to change others since it worked for this mom.
I personally dont give 1 cent about peoples opions about my hair lenght.. I co worker is the only person who has ever said anything about my hair.. It was a women with very short hair she kept saying you gonna cut your hair this week like every week for a month.. Finally one day I said I will cut my hair when yours reaches your waist.. She said What I said if guys have to have short hair then women have to have long hair.. She got quit for a sec and said I dont like long hair, I said I dont like short hair.. Never said anything about it after that in fact she is my (BFF) lol. at work now.

Id never let someone pressure me into cutting my hair....my mom has gone as far to say "Will you cut your hair for my Christmas present this year?"
This is absolutely disgusting and makes hate society even more so than I already did. What makes this women think that she has to tell her (probably) adult son to cut his hair? And why did he let this happen? He should have told her at some point to mind her own phucking business and if he lives on his own, threat to break up every contact to her.
Chances are, this is the kind of mother who would ask their child "If your friends jump off a bridge, would you jump too", implying he should be more individual/do what he likes.
To sum it all up: Society is a bunch of disgusting hyppocrites, wear your mane with pride as men with long hair are awesome and never let anyone tell you what to do.
Mothers can be stupid too. They can wear so much make up to the point of looking like a clown, wear slutty clothing to the point of looking like a whore, cut their hair short , date and or sleep with any guy they want (in case they are divorced and decide to re-do their life) but they can't stand the fact that their kids are also independant and have the right to do whatever they want with their own fcking hair.
Every time someone told me I should cut my hair I viewed it as
incentive to grow it longer.
I deeply resented it every time it was suggested.
Whether the people around me like it or not, it seems to always be kept quiet. My hair is nearly to my waist and I guess they think that if I haven't cut it by now, no amount of pressure they put on me is gonna work, anyway, so why bother!
I do get sick of well-meaning people constantly suggesting that I donate it all to Locks of Love. No thanks.
I would suggest those people to donate their kidney or one leg, just to see how they respond. After all, hair is part of our body. Isn't it?

That's a great response to the Locks Of Love supporters.I never knew of hair donations saving ones life but a kidney donation certainly would.Let them put "their" body parts where their mouth is as that would be a awesome response.I've always said if Locks Of Love needs hair why not get the synthetic stuff that can be made by the ton in China.Problem solved :) Cheers

The bsst response i've heard is that Locks of Love needs money
more than they need hair. 95% of hair trashed.
