Finally realized today my hair is considered "long" by most. This is to me, a significant hair journey marker. Still not where I want it but I feel like I am finally out of the awkward stage. My hair is long enough that it is manageable and I pull back my bangs and clip them to keep out of my face. I wash it every 2-3 days using salon quality/organic products. And I oil the ends after a shampoo day. No heat. Just letting it go natural. Finally touches my shoulders. In the from it reaches my collar bones and in the back at the longest point it's right at the top of my spine. I plan to let it grow several more months before trming outs some layers. My goal still remains at thick hemlin, Classic length hair. Thanks for the support everyone and keep sharing! Happy growing, John.
Thank you. :)
Your hair made a huge progress in only 9 months! Congrats!
Not sure why I guessed that you were at 9 months of growth haha I swear I read that
I think I'm at 9-10, you are close! I posted a while back :) thank you!
Hi John,
Thanks for the awesome update! You have a great hair type to grow long! Sounds like you really know how to treat your hair as it grows. The half-up looks wonderful on you. I can just imagine how good classic length would look on you! That is a heck of a goal! I wish you much hair growing power and patience in your journey! I believe you will be vey happy with the results my friend! Please keep us updated along the way!

Thank you and I will continue to send updates to the board :)
Looks like you've made a lot a progress this year! I'm starting to get in that stage where I can try to restrain mine as well, I'm digging all the options I have at this point!
