I'm too late to reply to Mark's & Bill's threads (which are now waaaaay down the page by now) from our longhair meet up and hike on the Golden Gate Bridge from last week; but having a few pics of my own from that day, thought I'd start by sharing this one....
Mark, I think your clothes and hair are too subtle -- you should learn to "live a little", be more daring and pick out some brighter, more vibrant colors (LOL)!

Here's an extremem close-up shot of Mark's red Henna hair, as seen by looking under a microscope at a few of his individual hair strands.
Notice how strong they seem to be -- almost as if some sort of metal wire weaved together into a cable of some kind, maybe even a cable strong enough to hold up a big bridge or something...
.... Umm, wait a minute: maybe this is NOT a close-up photo of Mark's henna hair after all.... Maybe it IS the cable holding up the Golden Gate bridge!

Oh Ken maybe that was when I braided my hair but then the bridge cables and my hair looked so similar it's hard to tell;) Still I can only dream of having hair of that density and strength. I bet Scott's ponytail was as thick as that cable don't you think? Cheers

Hmmm, makes me think wouldn't it be cool if I colored my hair green or yellow or orange! Maybe make it rainbow color next year as wouldn't that look awesome in the setting sun :) Cheers
