I'm tired of all the upkeep -- the ceaseless painting of it, checking to make sure all the nuts & bolts are OK, collecting the bridge toll $, the hiring and firing of all the bridge maintenance employees, etc., etc., and so-forth and so-on... It's just become one big headache for me (although I do admit to admiring its beauty)!
Anyone here interested in buying this bridge from me? I'll accept the highest bidder. Please send all checks to: Ken Gourley, AKA "Longhaired Urban Cowboy", San Francisco, CA, USA.
My 2 partners-in-crime, Bill & Mark, also wouldn't mind checks sent to them as well -- although I'm the primary owner of this bridge...
On a more down-to-Earth note (LOL): many thanks to Larry for taking this nice photo of the 3 of us. Larry is an amazing photographer -- he waited with split-second timing just to capture this seagull flying right over Bill's head, AWESOME!!
All kidding aside, it was a wonderful day hiking up to the bridge and onto it, we had a lot of fun, laughs, and great conversation (when we could hear ourselves talk above the bridge traffic and wind) -- and we even had some tourists from Brazil take our photos with them because they thought we looked so "typical San Francisco!"
OMG, if they only knew (LOL)....

Ken,
Trade ya for the Big Mac in Michigan! It's much longer though so don't know where you would put it! lol

payments, Ken? My credit is good and I would love to add a bridge to my personal assets.
Sorry for missing this event.

Hi Ken,
It was a great pleasure spending the day with you, Bill, and Larry and as can be seen in the pic the weather was fabulous!Good thing we did Fort Point the day before since the Feds slammed the gate this day as can be seen behind us.If you do sell the bridge quick enough maybe make a small donation to reopen this and other monuments:) lol. Oh well we make the best out of what crazy people in charge do to us;) Hope all is well with you since my departure. Sure miss SF and Cali.Cheers

As long as the seagull didn't decide to drop some ballast while "right over Bill's head"... that would have spoiled the picture, I'm thinking!!

Hey Ken! :-)
1. Is there a buyers premium for this item?
2. Is this bridge over "Troubled Waters?"
3. Do all 3 longhairs in the photo come with this auction spectacular?
4. Is there a bottle of "Henna" included in case "touch- ups" might just be needed in the future?
5. Can this "item" be delivered? (Uship might have some good rates going this time of year.) LOL
Quite a photo and so great that you posted this. Thanks Ken! Looked like a great Sunny day for sure. Take care and all the best-
Justin~ :-)
Thank you, one and all, for all of the fun responses to my silly "Bridge for Sale" post -- as well as the previous thread re. Mark's Henna Hair, I much appreciate the fun comments!
Sorry I'm not able to respond to each person individually this time, as I have to head out to start my work week now; but next week I hope to post a few more additional pics from that day of hiking on the G G Bridge with Mark, Bill, & Larry. It was a really fun day, with great weather to boot!
Thanks again,
Ken
I'm sorry, but I will only be interested if the three handsome guys come with it...
