My jaw length healthy hair! No regrets on the major trim because my hair was too damaged from old age. My new hair journey to waist length now begins...

I can well understand the "no regrets" and wish you every success in the world in growing that hair out again. Really and so true: When hair gets to a certain point that damage ruins how it looks and is beyond any kind of repair, doing what you have just done is the best solution.

Old age of hair, LOL.
Lookin' very very good, Mark -- and as far as I'm concerned, I've always liked that particular length, anyway (and even occasionally think about it for myself, regardless of the fact that my ends seem mostly OK for now). But, of course, there is a joy to growing it back to looooonger as well...

Looks great! I think its better to have good looking healthy hair rather than super long dead hair. But thats just me.
There are people who dont mind about having super long but damaged hair. I do care. For this reason I keep taking care of my hair as much as I can-. Everyone should, no matter if their hair is long or not.
