Hello everyone.
Haven't posted in quite a while, and don't have any plans to return to frequent posting. But I decided to grow my hair out again and I remembered with fondness my time posting on this board when I grew it out the first time...
Monthly updates, constant photos and measuring... This time I just kind of let it grow and don't pay any attention at all. Its certainly less stressful this way ^_~
Anyways, here's a pic of my from a couple months ago with my wonderful bride as a renewal of vows ceremony at a local renaissance faire. Hope you all are doing well.
If I can figure out how I'll post a pic of my buzz cut that i got just months before the actual wedding a few years ago for comparison...
comparison shot. Posy haircut, pre-re-growing ;)
Hi Rome, great to see you stop back in again! You two look awesome in that recent picture and what a difference than the older one.Well I have to be truthful and say I like the new you better;) LOL.At least you remembered your old friends here and even if you just lurk drop in on occasion to comment.Seems we are having a mini resurgence of alumni:)Cheers

Yes it does seem that way, as I have seen some pop-in posts like mine when i visited the site yesterday :)
Like others have said, the community here is still the post positive and supportive I have ever seen in an online community. There is a lot of negativity in my life right now from external sources, and although I have various positive outlets this one always comes to mind. I have a feeling I'll post more often than once every 3 years ^_~
Hey Rome,
Great to see you stop back again! That is such a great photo! Your regrown hair looks simply awesome and you and your bride look radiant. Your hair has an amazing natural color which is really shown off when it's long.
Jason
Jason,
Thanks! I think I say this everytime I find my way back to this site, but your albums were a major inspiration for my first growing journey! Nice to see you are still posting and well :)
Hi Rome,
It is so good to see you again, welcome back, and congrats on your fantastic news. That is such a nice photo of both of you, and may you be blessed with a wonderful life together.
Your hair looks really good, I know that you were concerned about thinning in some of your past posts, but it appears to have good thickness here. Good luck in your current hair growing journey.
Take care,
David
I agree with David and also noticed no obvious thinning. Hopefully everything has stabilized for you in that area and it's no longer a concern.
Hey David, nice to hear from you too! Thanks for the blessing.
Yeah the hair has continued to thin more than when I last posted. It's still full at the crown, but continues to recede at the "corners" (in the front above the temples). It's fairly noticeable now in most situations, especially with my hair tied back in any fashion. Parted in the middle and tucked behind my ears is best way to hide the recession. In the below pic taken last month, you can see a bunch of scalp peeking through the thinning front that is tied back. Nothing I can do about it, it just is what it is.
This is way cool Rome! Great job!
Ted
Awesome hair, beautiful wife, no wonder you look happy. Your hair color and length really suit you.
Cheers!

Walter!
Thanks for the kind words, and I think I will stop by more often!
Hello Rome,
I am pretty new to this forum so it is particularly nice to meet you and see your photo - I am partial to red heads - as I have grown older my red hair is fading, but my sons and daughter have brilliant and varying shades of red hair - one son and one daughter have long hair, too - and we are fond of our ginger natures - so, your photo is fantastic. I love the outfits and your hair, and your wife is radiant. thanks for coming by with a photo...
