... inspired by 'OKCdude' cheers CEM. :O)
Wow, what length of beautiful hair! Can't wait for mine to be this long. How long did it take you to get this length? :)
Thank you very much Mark ... time for length = 4. years. / 4. months. / 1. week & 5. days ... but whose counting !??! ... hehehe ... thanks for asking ! cheers CEM. :))
Wow...just wow. That is some amazing hair you have, the color, thickness, slight wave.
I think you should do an avatar update. Honestly, I had no idea from your current avatar that your hair was that long.
Thanks,
Chris
Thank you very much Chris - the avatar pic. was taken 2. years ago = & I posted here for the 1st time 4. months later in Feb. 2012: ( I think ) - I do have a no cut / no trim policy - it is my personal preference. cheers to you CEM. :))
That's the best picture you've ever posted. It's pure art, the way the gentle light illuminates your amazing hair. Very well done!
Thank you very much Jason - We've had shocking bush-fires over here & I am only 1/2 an hours drive from the devastation - so my farm has had choking smoke snaking through the trees for a week - hence the gentle light ... thx. for the compliment - very much appreciated !
Hi CEM,
Man I am so jealous of your hair my friend! The color and waviness is just superb my friend! You just made my day and I am inspired to keep growing! I thank you kindly for this awesome update! Great weekend to you :)
Ted
Thanks Teddy - you're very kind - you inspire me too cheers CEM. :))
Definitely awesome, man. Is there a man underneath all that hair!
Thanks heaps Bill - your headband definitely inspired my recent use of them & I'm growing to love them more & more ... there's a bear in there !!! < wink-wink > cheers CEM. :))
You've just inspired a whole lot of other folks, CEM.
I love how you wear your hair - so casual - so relaxed - no fuss - just beautiful, that's all.
I agree with the others - WOW - great picture.
Thanks so much 'Fitz' - some may think me vain: ( cause I post so much ) - but I'm actually not - just as you described, in your post, I'm very chill, when it comes to my hair & looks - I can go 2. weeks without washing my mop & days without brushing: ( the later, I paid a high price for, earlier this year, cause when I did go to brush it, I had knots so bad, I had to rip them out & as a result lost a handful of hair - some learn with feathers / some learn with sledge-hammers ... hehehe ... thx. for your very kind words cheers CEM. :))
That is some great looking hair. I'll have to try that sometime.
In all the 49 years i've had long hair i've never tried that style.
Where do you find headbands that don't look feminine?
Thanks 'LHIA' - I've just discovered the delights of headbands thx. to 'Bill' & 'OKCdude' - I'm glad to inspire - but I'm inspired here too you know ... hehehe ... I was recently asked if I was 'androgynous'
= androgynous |anˈdräjənəs|adjective
partly male and partly female in appearance; of indeterminate sex.
having the physical characteristics of both sexes; hermaphrodite.
... It was asked of me on line: ( a compliment, as he: ( yes, he was a man ) considered me beautiful ) - I love being a man & I love my masculinity - but I have been acutely aware of how long hair can feminise some men - I am naturally blond which feminises me further - but I'm a bloke whom belches & pisses on trees - I have no desire to be feminine/girlie/effeminate - I carry weight & a beard - mind you - this is the only time one has hinted: ( to my face - either on-line or in person ) that my hair makes me feminine - when my friends say I should trim my hair to tidy it up / blast split ends etc. = my response is 'NO - I don't want my hair to look pretty - I want to be a guy with long hair & look as such' ... so I can relate to your desire not to feminise yourself in your quest for headbands - I love the colour blue - in the pic. it is a silk scarf simply twisted & tied at the back - the knot is permanent & I simply just slip it on - nothing could be simpler - & being silk = it is very comfortable - hope this helps !!! cheers CEM. :))
but I'm a bloke whom belches & pisses on trees cheers CEM. :))
Man CEM! This had me laughing my butt off! Good one!
Ted
tis-true = *giggles*
Hey CEM!
While I might not be a huge fan of the headband (and not only on you, but just generally, at least the bandana type you are sportig here)... what I definitely *AM* a huge fan of are those golden locks of yours, which look absolutely superb!
Damn, bro... talk about a great picture, and a wonderful lion's mane! LOVE IT! =)
I've always liked headbands. Reminds me of when I first grew my hair long in the 1960s.
Headbands were popular back then.
thank you so much Raul - that means alot - I'm sorry you found my input re: your dreadlock journey negative: ( it was not my intent ) - a parent will always stop a child from running onto the road - I say this with love much respect to you my friend cheers CEM. :))
Nothing to worry about, my friend... that is all well understood, and behind us now! Closing in on my first inch of hair here, and more positive and excited about the journey than ever before :)
Take care bud!
... that's wonderful & I'm doin' a happy jig !!! hugs CEM. :))
Looks great! I have a growing collection of bandanas myself.
- Oren
Thank you Oren - yes = I'm growing to love 'em !!!

Your hair is gorgeous. I had no idea it was that long. You may want to use multiple hair ties along with the headband. (I do them in a rainbow.)
Scott
Thanks heaps Scott - that's a great idea - I saw a double rainbow only recently !!! thanks for the compliment & handy-hint ! cheers CEM. :))
