Hi guys (long time no talk)
I had to cut my hair all off for high school about six months ago.
My five month mark pictures are shown here.
A couple of quick notes (I'm too tired to post up a proper long winded statement):
- Classes aren't THAT bad. Or I shouldn't underestimate classes before the semester is over.
- I took a pretty bad spill on my bike. Now my wrist is broken, but it's healing pretty well.
- Being a sun belt kid, I almost got frostbite on my toes when walking to the dining hall last week in crocs.
- No balding from stress (YAY!!!!!)
- Friends are pretty cool and they don't pressure me to get my hair cut overtly.
- Well there's actually one woman that doesn't like that I'm growing my hair out. She REALLY doesn't like me wearing a rattail... I wear a rattail fairly often.
- Fun story: when meeting up with friends at the dining hall, I tied back my (now) shoulder length mullet. I had a black sweatshirt on. They thought that I had a haircut. After I loosened my hair, they said that I look better with the tail on. I guess they're going to stop getting their hopes up that I get a haircut.
Also, the guy that lives next to me is the only guy on my floor/wing to have long hair. Talk about coincidences...

So sorry you felt the need to cut your hair as I would hope you'd be able to keep it long for high school.You'd think by the time you are at that age they'd leave you alone about your own hair if it was because of the school you cut it.Thankfully it does regrow so as long as you can avoid another cut you'll be good to go.Hope your wrist heals quickly and you get over the frostbite.Man you need to take it easy before you get all broken up before school is over! I must say your hair is making wonderful progress! The tail is great with your nice straight hair! The woman you speak of is probably just jealous:) I can just imagine how good your hair will look in a year! Are you going to keep the bangs in the front as your hair gains length?
Happy to hear everything is going well though. Hope your wrist heals very quickly! Good luck with your classes-just study hard my friend! Very cool to hear your neighbor has long hair too! Great coincidence there! No more haircuts! Onward and downward my friend!
