Hi MLHH!
It's been a while since I last post my hair progress. It's because I was a bit busy with study recently. one thing though, I think I wanna only post my hair progress update every time the semester starts and ends so that i can see a remarkable progress and every time i did anything to my hair (like a haircut/trim, etc.). looking at my hair, i don't really like how the ends behave. i want it to be curving inside. what do you guys think i should do? do you guys think i need to get a trim?
Thanks :D
Your hair looks great. You should let your hair grow and
skip the trim. Don't get a trim until you reach your goal length.
Even then, once you reach your goal length, you may decide
you want to grow it longer. I would suggest going for terminal
length and then decide how long you want it.
Just leave it alone, don't even consider cutting. When it gains more length and thus weight it will fall as you want it. Cutting is causing your problems.
Hi ahseng,
Sorry but no trim recommendation here as I would just let it grow and mature the way longhair needs to do:)I see nothing wrong with the way you hair looks so appreciate what you've got my friend;)Cheers

Your hair grows really fast. The ends will never tame down if you trim it. Just let it grow.

Thanks. I noticed that my hair grows about 2cm a month :D
Hey ahseng,
Good to hear from you, bro.
Your hair is making great progress. It looks really stunning. You're going through the awkward phase. All long hair go through it when your hair curls out and it seems to have a mind of its own. DO NOT GET A HAIRCUT! DO NOT GET A TRIM! Let your hair grow. If you cut it or get a trim you will only prolong the awkward phase. Soon your hair will have enough weight and volume that it will fall naturally straight and stop curling out.
Your long haired bro,
Raymond
Absolutely!
Hi ahseng,
Congrats on an excellent update, and your hair grows quickly. As you hair gets longer, it will lay down better on its own, so the best thing to do is to just let gravity do its thing and keep on with the growing!
Keep it growing,
David
Lookin' good there, ahseng!
Re. cutting or trimming, my advice would be to only cut or trim IF you really wish to keep your hair at "medium-length"; but otherwise, as the others who have already replied below have said, please do NOT.... It's counter-productive to cut or trim if you wish to grow your hair to a longer length (unless you have very damaged ends, which is not at all what I see in your photos).
As far as your hair flipping up or out in unwanted ways and directions, that's just a part of hair behaving that way BECAUSE of it getting longer... the longer it gets, the more you can't necessarily "control" it in the same way as when your hair was shorter. All of us have had to learn this lesson the hard way, basically during our "awkward phase" (before long enough to tie back into a ponytail); so please hang in there, and rest assured that this is a normal thing to have to go through at this point in time during your growth process. It's all a part of "Longhair 101" (LOL)!

Hi ahseng,
I can only say one word. Awesome! Your hair is looking just fine! Many people would love to have that very straight hair you have! Even very straight hair will flip up at the length you have there. You just have to let it keep growing and let it hang free. I really don't think it will curl at the ends like that if you grow it longer. You might have the flip, but I doubt it. But if you keep trimming it, you will never find out! Just let it grow my friend! I am jealous!
