I recently found a message board on another long hair forum about a guy who's being seriously harassed by co workers and family and to the point where they are pulling his hair and he has bald spots and just wanted to post this here incase others have same issues. Because I was really happy with the responses to this where everyone supported him and gave good advice since I thought a lot would say negative comments but the positive comments helped alot with me and might help with others. Also this is an older post from few years ago and was resolved but its still helpful since there is still descrimination of long haired guys today. Also there is 27 pages and might look tiring to read but its worth it but to save some time page 26 and 27 doesn't have much. Because alot of the good responses are throughout the whole thread and i don't want to spam this with links of the pages which has good advice.

I read a little bit of that thread just now. Too many pages, and too upsetting. Getting real pissed off reading that.
I wouldn't take any crap from a stranger or co-worker about my hair. If somebody pulled on my hair it would become a fight. I'm not a big strong guy, and I don't have much experience fighting, but I would try my best to kick their ass. Bastards.
Hi Ryan,
I just read that poor guys post on LHC and can't get over all the negativity he has received not only at work but by his family! Frankly I don't know how he coped with it all but his workplace sounds pain awful. The fact a supervisor got into the act is very disturbing.People can be so stupid and its no wonder that some literally "go postal" at work when getting harassed in any way not just hair length.I would wonder if his workplace had an HR dept. he could seek refuge to.I see the post is rather old but hopefully this poor dude finally found peace and kept his fantastic mane. Thanks for the link to it.Didn't read the responses yet but will check some later.Cheers

I was thinking the same thing, Mark -
that really is harrassment and in the USA in most states - it is against the law. Work place violence being what it is - it would seem to me an HR manager would want to know this is going on.
Family? Well, you can't choose your family...
His picture sure doesn't look as if he is the kind of guy that I would choose to pick on - can't figure this one out.
Thanks for sharing but I refuse to read that story. I refuse to aknowledge that in year 2013 there are still people harassing others just because they have long hair.
I am very open minded, I live in an open minded community with very tolerant people and these things really upset me because its something that my mind will never be able to understand.
Again, thanks for sharing buddy.
Hi Dave,
Not to mention that Shadow Walker has hair to die for! I mean with the nice even hemline and beautiful thickness and color! To heck with those idiots who are most likely just jealous! And jealousy is a very bad thing! I am dismayed to know that people can be so sh*%^$y!

I have to acknowledge that there are those who harrass guys for
having long hair. Always has been, always will be.
It seems like he's finally had enough. He's a freakin pushover and needs to stand up for himself.
He didn't say what industry he is in but I'd sure as hell like to hang out just to knock the fuck out of someone.
His sisters' "shocked" reaction when he pops off at her tells me that they have been doing this for some time and have taken it for granted.
He needs to braid his hair and put a big fishhook in the end and whip that shit around, catch them in the cheek and start running when them in tow. It'd make a great youtube video!
