You probably have seen this kind of report where people who are marginalized, are helped by an organization, to help them get back on their feet. In this report (In French), a philanthropist helps former drug users to get jobs. Traditionally, the long-haired guys lose their hair.
Not in this report, all the guys find jobs in the end, and the long-haired guy keeps his hair.
Appearance changes everything - L'apparence change tout.
Even though I don't speak french, good for this guy, and good for this program and the philanthropist.
It's always been my opinion that a long haired guy has a much better chance of being on equal footing in the job market if he is well dressed.
tres bien
I worked for many years with men who became disadvantaged due to poor choices over the course of time... It is so encouraging to see things like this when men are helped to overcome and find peace. very excellent clip all the way around
Hi Georges,
Thanks for posting this article! I am so happy that everything turned out positive! I just hate when society is intolerant of what I like to call "the other". My parents raised me to be open-minded and I am happy to report I have remained that way as I got older. Thanks again for posting! Greetings from the U.S.A.! As Damon said, "Go Canada"!

Very nice video! It does go to show that cutting hair is not necessary for getting a job. I think it's only to the extent that we are uncertain about how our hair will be received that guys cut their hair before an interview, trying to eliminate that uncertainty. It's understandable, but how nice to see an example of a guy with great long hair who didn't cut.
