My hair is about an inch or so above the waist, as of this post. Have decided to let the beard expand quite a bit, too, with the cold weather coming on. I'm happy with it. Not finished growing. Don't know how far I'll go.

your hair is outrageous, Steve - I don't know how else to say it. And that is meant as a complement... I wonder, though, do you wear your hair forward like in the photos most of the time? Or do you fix it that way for the sake of the update? I can't get over how thick and full it looks on you. Every time you post a photo, I am amazed by it - and I like the beard, too.

Hello Steve and good to see a photo of your wonderful hair progress. Amazingly thick hair. As for beards why the hell not? I have started growing a beard again 6 months ago and will not trim or cut it for a full 12 months just to see what 12 months looks like. And with the Xmas season coming a guy with a white beard can blend right in.

I appreciate the kind words. It's been every bit of four years. There have been times I almost got fed up with everything and started to have it all cut off. But, I didn't and now I'm really glad. This is me.
Your mane is fabulous as always, man. And you will surely enjoy the longer beard during colder weather. For me, the magic length at which my whole head suddenly felt lots warmer was when my beard reached about twice the length that yours is now.

I have to hand it to you as your hair and beard combo looks fabulous!I like the fact the coloring is almost identical between the two:)Normally the beard is all white but the hair still has coloring from your youth.Great update that deserves a full cheers!

Your hair looks great. I myself go back on forth on the beard and have also decided to let it have some length this winter. The beard is something I seem to have trouble letting it do it's own thing, though I really do want a long one.

I like the fuller beard -- I am experimenting with my own beard also myself, gradually "testing the waters" to see how long I cn grow it before tossing in the towel.
Heck, since the hair on my head looks more & more obvious to me that it is at terminal-length (or very nearly so), that means there's really not much choice I have in the matter if I still want to grow more hair.....
