At the 6 month mark here...
Also, going to bed with wet hair is not a smart idea
You're doing fine...
I've done that in the past, only to have to re-wet it again..
Onward and Downward!
GREAT PICTURE, .mkl
I enjoyed it!

Yeah that does cause problems. It is best to make sure your hair is dry first. I fixed your photo right side up. (I Hope it worked.)

.mkl, maybe I'm weird ... but I LOVE your hair sticking up like that! A sorta retro-punk look - VERY cool!

Thanks!
I flattened it by putting water in it and then putting on a beanie since I had to go to church immediately after.
Since I wear full sized headphones, using gel to keep it like such is out of the question.
But thanks! Also, I think I should start using conditioner to wash my hair because it's starting to have a lot of static.
What kind of headphones do you use?
Iphone/Ipad/Ipod/MP3 player?
I have an iphone but detest the idea of sticking earphones in
my ear. (Having worked in radio years ago I'm partial to
headphones.)
I also love your hair.
DirectSound EX-29s. They're phenomenal for the price ( they regularly change price, but stay in the 80-130 dollar range). I use them for both recording analog and digital and listening to analog and digital. I also use them when I play my electric drumset and occasionally when I play guitar. They work amazingly for every purpose. There are headphones that sell for several hundred dollars, and admittedly I've never used a pair; but I don't see how they would be that much better than the EX-29s.
They're extreme isolation ( even just having them on with no music makes just about everything else silent) and they're flatlined EQ (a must have for recording and it means that the EQ comes strictly from your settings on your device). They also come with a screw-on 1/4" jack (good quality and again, necessary for some things like amps and recording). And they're really comfortable. I have 5 rings in my right ear and have no problem.
I got them because my roommate has a really big head and broke my 20 yr. old Pioneer headphones, which were of slightly better audio quality than my ES-29s. However, newer Pioneers just don't stand up to the ones made in the 80s so I went with the Direct Sounds and they're pretty damn good.
Thank you. I'll have to look for them.
Hi Matt,
I have to agree with Damon! You look cool with your hair like that! You are making excellent progress for 6 months! You have very nice hair which will look awesome when it gets longer. I hope you grow it to at least mid-back length! Just don't go to bed with it wet anymore! Please keep us updated on your progress! Hope you're doing well in your studies my friend!

Hey mkl!
Gotta' love that bedhead look! It's even funnier with thick, wavy hair, I can promise you that! Good thing it's winter and it can be hidden mostly with caps and beanies, though some reapplying of water and then a slight amount of product should really keep it all nice and tidy, if that's what you're looking for :)
Nice! I did the same thing about a month or so ago and had some pretty funky looking hair as well!
