Twitter is my main social media outlet. I use it like a newsfeed and check it just about every day. Tweets are searchable, and tonight I typed in "long hair guy" in the search box and came across this tweet that I really liked:

I wanted to have it show up, not at a copy-and-paste link. Here is another attempt with my computer rather than an iPad!

Wrong one above! One more try. If I get this wrong I'm going to bed .
if you're a guy and can pull off having long hair it is a literal gift from the gods and you may never cut it
"and you may never cut it"
Great quote!
Ps...I know what it's like when posts do not work as planned....
.....Thanx again to Damon fixing my pic from my "smart" phone..

Am I the only one who hates Twitter? Seems kind of pointless to me. You've got 140 characters, by the time you put in the
@ commands, the # commands, and the short links you're left with about two characters left. I have to wonder bother?
Beyond that I was looking at the stuff posted on Twitter and
it occurred to me did this IT person give the Twitter poster
permission to post his picture on Twitter? Probably not.
Yet those photos will be out there in cyberspace forever. Just because someone can post photos on Twitter doesn't mean that
they should. You never know what the consequences will be.
It reminds me of an incident in Texas where two security guards
posed for a photo with Tom Brady last weekend and ended up getting fired because he did this photo.
Something to think about before posting something on Twitter.
For a long time I didn't *get* twitter. Same thought about the 140 characters.
I like it because I follow a variety of sources and it acts for me like a news feed or ticker.
As for social media and the digital world, yes these things get abused or people get themselves into trouble.
I look at it as a tool, just as a hammer can be used to pound an 8-penny nail (good) or pound your thumb nail (ouch).
