Nice job on your first month milestone! It ain't much, but it is definitely a start, and you should probably know that most guys give up and cut their hair after the 3-4 month mark, so you are soon to be stronger and more patient than most! Nice job!
When it comes to this stage of such short hair, and truly still ways off the awkward stage (I truly began experiencing mine around the 8-9 month mark), I really enjoy fixing my hair with some product to give it a more playful look.
Right now at almost 3 months (and just a bit longer than yours, I think), I really enjoy experimenting with paste.
Here's a picture of me taken a few minutes ago, where I have spiked up the front and top of my hair with some Schwartzkopf iStylers RESTYLER fibre paste. It ain't much, but it's fun for me, and makes this initial stage that much more enjoyable :)
