Here's another school hair policy article which seems to have had a better outcome for a change. Comments are always welcome. Great day everybody!

I do wonder if the outcome would have been the same had the student been male.
The school's web site mentions a rather restricted dress code but does not mention hair. They do mention a policy that all students must be "employable", and I would not be surprised if that is not used as an excuse to harass longhaired male students.

I wonder if what prompted the change was the threat of a racial
discrimination law suit.
I would think it probably would have been. It was most likely
racially based.
It would be interesting to find out how they treat longhaired male students. "Employable" is a rather vague term.
