So I finally hit my one year mark. It was really short when I began.
After new years I'm going to get it cut for the first time. Just about 1/2 or an inch to get rid of the dead ends and all that. But I'll continue to grow it until it's shoulder lenght.
Here's some pics, I was out in the snow so it's not at it's best...

Awesome job hitting the first year!! Do you have dead ends that need trimming? Or do you just want to clean it up? What length did you start from? Again congrats on the one year mark..I hope to be joining you there in future.
Great milestone! For what it's worth looking at the ends in your pictures (they look fine to me), I don't see the need to get a trim, but to each his own. :-)
Rob,
You are making good progress, slow but sure...
I had to look back at your other pictures - October you posted one with short hair, as you looked when you started... while the progress month to month is slow, the overall change from a year ago is great.
I would not trim it yet, Rob. Let it get some significant length. Unless you have other advise, that's what I'd say.
You are definitely looking good.

I'm on one year now, too... I will be posting some updates soon.
Looking awesome!
Try not to get trims until you gain some more growth though.
if you have split ends there are other things you can try out before cutting them
You are looking just fine....if you go to get 1 inch taken off, they will take off more....they always do... I wouldn't...
Have fun in the snow, and Keep Growin!

Hi Rob,
I must say your hair is looking great for only one year! With your hair type, it shouldn't take long to get some nice length. Please keep it growing and thanks for the awesome update!
