Hi Guys,
So I was walking toward a set of glass doors and could see my reflection as I approached. My hair was moving somewhat as I walked and I thought, hey, my hair looks good!
Believe me, that is not a common thought I have going through the awkward stage. Anyway, here's a picture to share from today at the office.
Cheers,
Chris
Your hair looks great, man. I wish my hair was that shiny or that thick. The awkward stage sucks, but atleast it's only temporary.
Onward and downward,
Jarvis
Thanks Jarvis! I appreciate it. Looking at your avatar picture, your hair looks pretty thick too.
Thanks,
Chris
Very, very nice! You look great with long hair. What's your goal length?
Thanks! I would like to say, "The floor's the limit" but realistically I'd like to have the hair grow to mid-back.
Chris
Thanks for posting Chris....You are coming along just fine.
Keep Growin....

Do you use something to make it so shiny? Also, thiiiiiiick.
Thanks Lucian. Maybe it's the lighting in the picture?
I use natural henna and indigo for color. I think it also improves the shine of the hair although not to the extent that I've ever noticed.
Thanks,
Chris
Looks far better than mine during the awkward stage. Keep it up.
How long have you been growing it for now?
Hi Michail,
Thanks & sorry for the late reply. I've been growing my hair "officially" since May. For several months before that I was leering the hair get longer while still getting haircuts.
Chris
Hi Chris,
Absolutely! Just because, I like that! Your hair is looking just fabulous my friend! I don't even see an awkward stage-and I'm jealous man! I do thank you for the wonderful pic and wish you much success in your journey! By the way, I kind of think you look like Bob Seger. Happy holidays to you and your family!
Ted
Hi Ted,
Took me so long to reply to your message because I had to look up a picture of Bob Seger to refresh my memory. I appreciate the comparison, especially because it would be great to look like this:
Chris
Hi Chris, your hair looks quite long for only 7 months! I think you'll be reaching your goal of mid back much sooner than later at that rate!!
Thanks Tommy. It's nice to be reminded, because of course day to day or week to week the growing can seem so slow.
Grow, dammit!
Thanks,
Chris
