Thanks for the kind wishes everyone! And for those like Michail whose actual Christmas Day was somewhat short of awesome (my own was a bit meh too), I hope you make up for it in the New Year - not necessarily NYE itself but the WHOLE year - so lots of time for some serious merrymaking! :)

Instead of spending Christmas alone, Larry and I invited over three friends, a couple who are longhairs. Ken, who you all know, is in the black shirt, seated. His partner Eve has the long blond curls. And of course I'm the other guy seated. (The third guest is on the left behind Ken.)
We had a baked ham and lots of yummy vegetables, cooking done by Ken, whose day job is as a chef. After spending time after dinner to visit and to "make room", we sat down to finish off the evening with pumpkin pie.

Wow! Next time, invite me over too! Food sounds great, the weather looks perfect - and I know I'd love the company! And I've never tried pumpkin pie in my life so that would be a whole new experience.
I'll bring a bottle of wine - and my new elf hat! :)
