I was down at my local sports centre yesterday and was approached by a young Polish woman and her ten-year-old son. She said he had been thinking about cutting his mid-back length hair because he hadn't seen any other men or boys with long hair since they moved over here, and other children told him he looked like a girl, but having seen my hair, he'd changed his mind and wanted to grow his longer.
His mum said his hair had never been cut short, only trimmed to keep it at a manageable length, and that she couldn't understand why more men didn't have long hair.
If only there were more people like her.
Nice to hear there are some people like this out there.

Around here there are other guy s with long hair.
Also as I keep mentioning the expression "he looked like a girl"
is now obsolete. As I keep mentioning around here most of the women have hair that is much shorter than mine. And the women who
do have hair longer than mine, many of them have hair that is
bad shape. My hair is 3/4 of the way down my back and
around this part of the US of A 99 out of 100 women have hair
that is shorter than mine.
That is great that you were able to meet them, and that the boy knows it's OK to keep growing!
