I personally hate long hair on men and wish all of these people would cut there hair, especially Hanson and Garret Maggart
I expect alot of respons, but try to be civilized. No death threats or voodoo curses please!
I don't think that anyone could argue that some hairstyles work better on some men than others. We all have our opinions, and I respect you for sharing yours. There are a lot of guys that I personally don't think are suited to a long hair style--but if they want to wear their hair that way, God bless 'em!
I have a TON of respect for men who realize that feeling good about themselves means more to them than trying to please others. They seemed to have learned a lesson that few of us understand: it's okay to be who you want to be. And I guess that's the point of this board: we're a group of people who prefer long hair on themselves or on others, and like to talk about it. And we feel GREAT about that!
And just to share a personal story with you...I'm in the process of applying for a significant promotion in my company (aerospace/defense). My hair is about shoulder length, and when I asked my boss (a woman) if I should cut my hair, she said no--my prospective supervisors needs to know the real me. Cool, huh?! Which only reinforces my point--be yourself, like who you are, and don't worry about what someone else thinks...life is WAY too short.
Anyway--keep an open mind, and thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I have to respectfully disagree with all of your "looks horrible" list. (Well, of course, "almost all professional wrestlers" is a little vague, but I have seen some GORGEOUS men with long hair the couple of times I've flipped by WCW Wrestling on TV. I think the whole look of long hair on big, smooth, muscular men is very hot.)
The aforementioned attraction to muscular men with long hair also explains my attraction to Kevin Sorbo. I don't really like Fabio that much, although that's really more about his personality than his hair.
I LOVE young guys with long hair, especially Hanson. Unfortunately,
it seems that Joseph Gordon Levitt's hair is now a moot point. I just read on another board that he was seen at at awards short with his hair cut down to about 3". As you cann imagine from my earlier post on collecting hair, I would have LOVED to have been there to have swept the floor!

Ok, so whoever wrote what guys look good and bad with long hair was really stupid. In my opinion, Yanni and Fabio are very unattractive men with crappy ass hair. On the other hand Joey Gordon-Levitt and all the members of Hanson look wonderful with it. I'm a girl who knows what looks good and I think everyone can trust me when I say what looks good. Joey cut his hair recently, he still looks fabulous, and I just want to say to all those men who hate longer haired guys that you are all jealous and feel threatened by them for some dumb reason.

Long hair looks good on men who have real thick hair like Kevin Nash,
Hunter Hearst Helsmley, Shawn Michaels, Jesus, Fabio, and others. But
men with long hair that is thin look pretty bad. If I grew my hair long it would look bad. If I had thick hair I would most definantely
grow it long. Also it is important for men with long hair to wash it reguarly with soap and conditioner. It's just a shame that every single human being alive can't have nice, thick, full hair for their entire lives.
