It is about three weeks since I appeared on this board, and not far from 4 months since my last haircut.
It's not much for the moment. The side bangs are starting to get "awkward", but I'll get more behind the ears as time goes on.
Do you think I should go for a centre parting as it gets longer?
My blog.
Hi Anthony,
Thanks a bunch for the awesome update! Your hair is just looking wonderful with the very nice color! I do think a center parting would be nice as it gets longer. Please keep it growing and flowing my friend!

I used some special stuff for dealing with yellowing grey hair. I was surprised to find a dark blue colour - it's obviously a very subtle blue dye to work against yellowing. My wife was most amused when she saw the bottle in the bathroom. "My, we're really getting coquette these days!" To be used sparingly.
I think a centre parting would be good to cover the slight balding over my temples - once both side bangs are long enough. It will be a retraining job, but which will be easier once I get to full ponytail length.

I also find being outdoors makes for better photos, better colours and fewer shadows. I found the same when I did a "selfie" when I was out sailing a month ago. I find flash photography so unflattering!

My blogI'm at the point where I have to use outdoor photos.
My hair is all grey now but an indoor photo shows the hair
as black. It's now all grey only an outdoor photo shows the true color. And I fully intend to keep my hair it's natural color be that grey or white. I keep saying I earned all that grey hair
when I was younger and someone told me to get a haircut.
I fully intend to keep my hair long and grey until the day I die.
Anthony, I found that when I reached a certain length, it made sense to go to a centre part...and perhaps it will for you, too. Yes, parting in the centre does tend to hide the receding temples. It seems that most longhairs part in the centre. I don't remember it being especially difficult to 'train' my hair to accept the new parting, but nowadays whenever I try reverting to the side part my hair seems to want to keep parting in the middle.

Your hair is looking great. One of the nice things about long hair
is there are many ways to wear it. You can try parting it in
different ways to see which you prefer. The only way to see
which you prefer is to actually try it different ways.
That is one of the nice things about long hair, you can wear it lots of different ways.
Your hair "color" looks great.
The center parting is easy to achieve, at some point they part themselves right in the middle.
At the moment I am "glued" to that kind of parting.
Moreover I woud say waiting and then just try it out like "LHIA" already said mayby something modern in between, something "exclusively for young guys" if you like to to scandalise.
postscriptum: I wouldn't call it balding.

Hey Anthony, thanks for the update. I think the kind of part you go with is totally a personal preference. I prefer an off-center one myself, however my hair just falls in my face when I do that at this point, so until it gets longer I'm letting it fall naturally....which is in the center. Keep up the good work!
