Hello again! I decided to upload another photo because I don't like the other which I uploaded this week.
Want to say some words about me also.
I've been a longhair since I was 13. Now I am 29 years old.
At school I had no problems. Some of my classmates were also long haired and we were accepted well, maybe because we had excellent marks.
At the university of Sofia was just the same as at school. Some students were with long hair, some not. I graduated Molecular Biology in 2011 as a Master.
Now I work and make my PhD at the Forest Research Institute in Sofia. I'm the only one longhair here, but no one has asked me about my haircut. Surprisingly some coworkers gave me advices and I appreciate this.
I suppose that in the field of science jobs are more long hair friendly :)
Sometimes when walking along the street I meet some people who look at me a little strange but it's not their business. A man at the bus called me "Hey girl!", but I didn't even look at him. This happened 2 weeks ago.

I've had long hair since 1964. I'm now 59.
I decided long ago it is none of their business, it's my hair
i'll wear it the way I want. And at 59 years old I don't care what others think.
I noticed long ago around here most of the women have shorter hair than me.

Thanks for the picture and update. Interesting to me is that your hair looks lighter when photographed outside. I've seen that happen with others but not everyone.

Greetings to you. It's nice to hear from you and hear a bit about your life. You obviously are a well educated man. YOu know what you are doing and know your choices well. I am glad you are not intimidated by others. the person who called you "girl" obviously does not have much self control.

This is a picture from the last autumn (September 2013). It's Black Sea. I had a holiday there for 2 weeks - near Sunny Beach.
It's looking good dude! As far as any public criticism, it has no effect on us longhairs. We laugh at their ignorance.
Thank you all for your support! There is ignorance not only against long hair, it's against everything "different".
