I was really heartened the other day. I had to go to Best Buy for some computer stuff. About 35% of all the dudes in there that day had long hair! I felt great. Several of the employees had super long hair, and tatts, etc. Very accepting, open minded bunch of young people. And some middle aged too. They complimented my hair, and I theirs. It all seemed very natural. Whenever I need a fix of confidence, I guess I have to go back and buy something. Just wanted to share that there are more of us out there and more who accept us too, than we sometimes perceive. So, keep it long, guys. sj

That is good. Hopefully more of our society will accept long hair. (I live near San Francisco. Lots of longhair guys here.)

It is pleasing to hear about more acceptance to long hair on guys.
I've noticed something similar, I'm working at a gas station since everyone needs fuel I see people originated in all different social classes and abaou 8% of them have at least sholderblade long hair even some bold ones.
Even in the middle of DC I calculate that figure at 5%. And that's in a town full of lobbyists and politicians, who aren't exactly renowned for long hair.
I was watching one of the sunday news shows and they
had a retired judge on was going bald on top but also had hair
that was half way down his back in a pony tail.
I'm not sure which show it was or what the guys name was.
I have sometimes found longhairs in (vinyl) record stores, both working there as well as customers... one in particular has his hair like 80's rockers wore...
