Hi everyone,
My computer was down so I missed my February update. So here is my March update. Looks like I am making some progress. I had my wife cut about half an inch off the back to get rid of the crazy point I was getting. I believe I will be maintaining the ends straight across. Onward and downward my friends!
Ted
Here is the front (and not so great view).
Looking great, Ted! I like that straight across cut.
Hi Jason,
Thanks a bunch for the very kind words my friend! Believe it or not, I decided to cut it like that after seeing your recent update! I am very much inspired by your hair since it looks similar to mine in type. Thanks again and please be well!
Ted
Nice update! Do you have a ponytail pic?
Hi Lothar,
Thanks so much for your very kind comments my friend! I finally took a tail pic and posted it towards the top of the page. Not much of a tail yet, but at least I can tie it back if needed. Thanks again and please be well!
Ted
You look so happy, though, TED! It looks fantastic from the front... I like to see people's faces - eyes are a window to the soul... Thanks for sharing both views!
Why thank you so much Fitz! You would be correct that I am happy! Life is good and always will be! Even through thick and thin we must remain happy my friend! Keep it growing buddy!
Ted
Wow! Great update, the hair looks great and the length is in the shoulder blades now, you must be loving it! Congrats on achieving that length and continue to let it flow. It looks awesome!
Hi Seminole,
Thanks so much for your vey kind comments my friend! I was liking the way my hair was looking so decided to post an update. I am enjoying it more now that it is starting to even out and become closer to one length. I will definitely continue to let it flow! Thanks again for the very nice words!
Ted
Hi Ted,
Fantastic update which really shows exceptional progress especially since you missed the February one.You are well on your way in becoming a longhair as from now on it looks like your hair will continue to creep down your back now that shoulder length has been achieved:)Keep doing what your doing as its obviously working my friend.Cheers
Mârk
Hi Mark,
I much appreciate your very kind remaks my friend! Yes, I am happy that the hair is finally able to fall below the back of the neck curve area! Seems like it has been hovering there for far too long! It feels very good to be on the downside of things now. Yes, it's onward and downward now! Thanks again for the nice comments and take care!
Ted
Lookin' good, Ted. I actually like the elliptical look of natural long hair fall. However. It is matter of personal taste, is it not.
Hi Jason,
I do thank you kindly for the very nice comments my friend! I also like the natural fairytale ends. I will more than likely rotate between blunt ends and natural ends. And you are correct, it is purely a matter of personal taste. Thanks again and take care!
Ted

Looks good to me. The length is really starting to show.
Scott
Hi Scott,
Thanks so much for your very kind words my friend! I keep telling myself I will catch up to you someday! Not really sure about that, but I can dream! Yes, the length is strting to finally show. I just can't wait until I can have all of my hair stay behind my shoulders. Seems I'm always trying to comb it back right now. Probably another 2 years at least and I will be able to wear it loose most of the time without any problems. But then I will probably have to deal with more tangles. Thanks again and please take care!
Ted
It probably won't take to long for the rest of your hair to catch up, seeing as how fast you are making progress. Looks pretty good, either way.
Hi Michail,
Thanks so much for your very nice comments my friend! I am happy with my progress so far! I probably will not trim any more until I get to waist length. Thanks again and I hope you are doing well!
Ted
It looks wonderful, Ted, from both sides. It will be a long time before I trust my wife with a pair of scissors! Keep it growin' and flowin'
Anthony

Hi Anthony,
Thank you so much for your very nice comments my friend! My wife loves me growing my hair! I also trim her hair when she wants it done. I have been watching your updates with great interest! Your hair is going to look awesome! We just have to let it grow! Thanks again and please be well!
Ted
Hi Ted,
your hair looks great (not to mention your growth rate).
Personally I like the natural elyptic look of long hair but it looks good either way.
So thanks for the inspiration and keep it growing.
-Christian
Hi Christian,
I thank you kindly for your very nice words my friend! I will probably let it grow naturally at the ends for a while now. I also like the natural look. I am happy I am inspiring to you! My first goal is waist length. It should look great at that length I hope! Thanks again and please be well!
Ted
Hi Ted,
Cheers on yet another excellent update! Your wife did a really good job with the trim, and I like the thick and even ends in the back. I look forward to your future progress!
Keep it growing,
David
Hi David,
I thank you kindly for the very nice remarks my friend! My wife thanks you for the kudos! I must admit I kind of like the even ends too. We will hope they stay thick as I approach waist length! Thanks again and please be well!
Ted
LOOKING GOOD TED!
Hi James,
I thank you kindly for the very nice comments my friend! Needless to say, I very much am inspired by your awesome hair! One of these days I will get there I hope! Thanks again and please stay well!
Ted
Looks great Ted! But I must say than you have more confidence in your wife than I do!!!
A.D.
Sorry Ted! Meant to write "Must say that you have more confidence in your wife than I do with mine, especially with a pair of scissors"!!!!
A.D.
Hi A.D.,
Thanks so much for the very nice compliments my friend! After seeing your pic I have become even more inspired to grow longer! My wife and I got a laugh out of your post! It took me a while to let her cut it though! Around here, scissors are used to cut paper, not hair! Thanks again and please be well!
Ted
Ted,
I am awestruck! I've been wondering where you went... Glad to see you back on here with this awesome update... And what you've acheieved at 18 months blows me away... My 18 month update will be in June - when I turn 58 years old...
Thanks for posting!
your admirer,
Fitz
Hi Fitz,
Thank you so much for your very kind words my friend! I am happy to be back and thanks for thinking of me! I was missing my daily visits to the MLHH. I can't wait to see your 18 month update! I do believe your hair will look just wonderful! And I must say you don't look 57 to me! Thanks again and please be well!
Your fellow admirer, Ted
Ted,
Your hair looks wonderful! Slow and steady wins the race!
peace,
jonalbear
Hi jonalbear,
Thank you very kindly for your nice comments my friend! Yes, you are correct! I just have to be patient and let it grow! It seems like when I don't pay attention, it grows faster! I have always admired your hair as well! Thanks again and please be well!
Ted
Great update, Ted.
Is it just me or your hair looks a lot straighter now? It doesnt look as wavy as it used to be a few months ago.
Hi Dave,
Thanks so much for the very kind words my friend! I think maybe it is a little straighter than before. I have been using Suave Professionals Keratin infusion smoothing shampoo and conditioner. But I have read that hair can change straightness or waviness with more length. Not that it matters, but both of my parents have straight hair. That's interesting you noticed that. I don't do anything else to try to straighten my hair though.
Thanks again and I hope you're doing well! I am looking forward to your next update!
Ted
You're welcome Ted. I have been using shampoo and conditioner with Keratin as well. Isn't that great? I love how keratin works on my hair.
Yes, it is great what Keratin does. I started using it because it made my hair feel so soft. I'm still curious how my waves will look at waist length. They might fall out due to the weight. Either way, I'll be happy to have hardly any taper to my ends at that length!
Ted
Thanks Ted for the great update...
I am glad that your wife can help you with your hair...
I have been told that keeping your hair long weighs down the waves/curls and therefore should be trimmed shorter...that is another way of telling me they don't like my hair long... I am glad your wife took off a half inch, had you gone to the mall it would have been a lot more!
Keep growin! The Spaf Man
Hi Spaf Man,
Thanks a bunch for the very nice comments my friend! Yes, I am lucky my wife is willing to help trim my hair! I definitely don't want to contribute any money to the hair butchers out there! They just want you to keep coming back! Well, there is nothing wrong with long hair weighing down the curls! That's just what happens naturally sometimes. I hope you don't listen to those people you speak of! And I hope your hair is growing nicely for you! Thanks again and please be well!
Ted
Looking great Ted!!
- Oren
Hi Oren,
Thank you kindly for your very nice remarks my friend! I am slowly but surely getting where I want to be! Needless to say, I enjoy visiting your progress pics for much inspiration! I do thank you again and please be well!
Ted
Hey Ted, what a great update! I missed February too, that's pretty ironic :).
The length difference is hardly noticeable with the trim you mentioned.
