I am on spring break and have seen a number of guys with long hair, but almost always loose. I usually wear a ponytail or bun, but have been trending towards the bun most of the time lately. Thought it was interesting I was the only one I have seen here on break tying my hair up despite a reasonable number of longhairs. Do most of you ear it loose too?
I wear it loose most of the time. I'll bun it/pony tail it/braid it/pig tail it when it is very windy, or there is the potential for damage.
I'm 59 years old and refuse at this ripe old age to hide my hair.
Both depending upon the occasion
Up at work or when I am doing active stuff, at leisure, often down.
i stay in france, and there the most part of long hair men do wear buns or pony tails; only the mid lenght haired men do wear long hair without containing them and i wear the most a nautilus or a lazy wrap bun, after many years of ponytail
when i'm a theater "shaman" i wear free hair
I wear my hair in a bun or mufti-segmented ponytail most of the time.

I think spring break is the key. I wear my hair both ways, loose and tied up, but at the beach it would definitely be loose. That may be why you're seeing so many guys with loose hair.

I usually almost always wear mine in a ponytail, but sometimes wear it loose. I would wear it braided if I could manage to do it or get someone else to do it for me.
I wear mine loose around the house. Otherwise, I keep it from flying all over the place with a bandanna. My hair is very fine, and the minute I step out into the slightest wind, it is all over the place.

I guess it was probably the demographic mostly like someone said. I don't see a ton of other longhaired guys where I am at so don't have much to go on.
