Ah! That's more like it. You are doing very well, and your hair seems to be less wavy than mine. Like mine, you are growing from a very short haircut. Just don't be tempted to try any "equalizing trims" before you join the Ponytail Club. Just be patient through the awkward stage.
You will find your hair will seem to thicken as the individual hairs grow beyond 4 to 5 inches. Keep calm and carry on!

I see the resemblance lol. It is entering the point where I feel like I have been growing it for some time now, but it is still not the longest. It is kind of a frustrating stage, but I have to remember to not cut it and sooner or later it will reach "long hair" status. Thanks, Ted.

Thanks, I am hanging in there getting ready for the difficult stages that are lying ahead, but I am determined.
Great update, your hair does seem to be pretty long for 5 months in. Your ears are nearly covered and the back is hitting the shirt it looks like! It looks similar to mine, very thick!
