I have a thing for men with long hair, so when I was reading a Slate article with an interview from one of the moderators of this site I must say I was quite intrigued. I think this is an excellent site, I'm loving all of the photos. =D
Btw, here's the article: http://www.slate.com/blogs/xx_factor/2014/03/31/what_is_a_longhair_an_interview_with_jason_bartlett_on_men_who_grow_out.html
a new nice woman...no submit us to the temptation....if even you accept become a rapunzel lol
I'm not sure what you mean by temptation.... I used to have waist-length hair myself up until about a year ago. I live in Beijing and it's too hot/humid in the summer to survive with long hair. I finally worked up the courage to let a Chinese hairdresser touch it after 2 years, but now I'm trying to grow it back out. FYI, I've always used biotin supplements and they seem to work wonders for quick growth.
Hi Meg,
Sorry to hear you cut your waist length hair due to the heat and humidity of summer but frankly I endure those conditions in the summer too but wouldn't dream of cutting my hair because of a little discomfort.Generally I have it tied up or under a hat to keep it off my neck when its really humid.Nothing worse than hair sticking to your neck and back under those conditions.LOL.Cheers

dear Meg, you are a very nice lady and, on this site are many alone men; but a date should be difficult; china is so long away..lol
I have to disagree. On very hot/humid days (dep point > 74) i've found that long hair is more comfortable. If I tie my hair up in a pony tail/braid it/bun it/pig tail it's more comfortable to have the hair handing down and loose. So every summer I absolutely flatly refuse to cut my hair. The hair acts as
built in shade. So for me no matter how hot or cold it gets the hair will remain long.
Also on very hot/humid days i'll often go with only cut off shorts on and no shirt.
I agree that in certain conditions longer hair is breezier. In the U.S. it was no problem, but when you've got pollution as a cruel incubator it's absolutely miserable. No breeze, no fresh air, just thick heat surrounding you. Beijing summers are the worst, and I'm from the deep south so I know hot/humid.
Welcome to the MLHH, Meg!
Cheers,
Val
It's wonderful to welcome a lady here, especially one who understands and sympathizes with long hair on men. You could have a good thing or two to say to our wives...
Thanks for posting Meg, it's good to see someone who read the article gets it!
