  Had no idea that there was such a message board. Really dont know how often I will visit, if ever again. Im 47 decided to grow out after painful separation from my wife. That was 3 years ago. Had short hair all of my adult life until this point. Im lucky I suppose. No gray no lack of hair so why not. I have yet to run into any problems or had any confrontations because of it. Nothing but compliments from women, those who like longer hair on a guy my age. There are far more than I would have ever thought. So all in all its all good as far as the hair goes. Keep it up brothers..let it grow.
