I'm curious to know what style is most popular in terms of the shape of the hair behind one's back. I see that the choice is a "V" shape, a rounded shape or a straight line across.
Mine isn't nearly long enough to have any idea for me.
What's your favourite style?

If the mane's "hemline" is reasonably full/thick in volume, I tend to favor a natural "V" shape. If the ends are thin and wispy, it might look better if trimmed back to the point at which the hemline appears full again; in this case, I would lean more in favor of a straight line.

Hi Anthony,
Yea I'm with Val on this question as I love the "V" shape but only if its nice.Still its nice to have options :) Cheers

I like the straight line across.
Another six months or a year, and I'll get mine trimmed like that.
I want it waist-length and cut straight across. My mom calls it a "nine-year-old-girl's" haircut.
Hi Tony - good questions are always asked out of curiosity - I was V-shaped 4. yrs. ago - but in the fullness of time it is now just 'shabby-chic': ( a fancy name fer flea-bitten & tumbledown ) - but my fav. is either rounded or V - as I feel that a flat, str8. across line is too harsh & un-natural looking + too perfectly trimmed hair on guys tends to feminize them: ( imho ) - I want to look like a man with long hair = not a pretty girl !!! cheers to you CEM. :O)
