So yesterday I started to use Wen to see if it lived up to all the hype that it gets.
...It does!
Judging by how my hair feels, looks, and smells right now and how it has for the past 2 days I can definitively say that I don't think that I'll be using any other hair product anytime in the near future. My hair both feels clean and stays almost tangle-free. There's also a very noticeable improvement in volume. I really can't put into words how awesome my hair feels right now. And like I said, Wen smells really, really good as well.
The only downside is that a 32 oz. bottle cost me roughly $55. Having said that, I think it's well worth the price for me. I absolutely love it. And it looks like the bottle will last quite a while, anyway. I only take 3 showers a week and I will continue to do so, and I'm not even sure if I will use Wen every time I wet my hair, but I DO know that I won't be using any other shampoo or conditioner in the mean time save for occasional coconut oil deep conditioning, which even seems less necessary given how amazing my hair feels right now!
Cheers,
Jarvis
Thanks for the excelent write up, Jarvis. I am going to look around for a lower price, if there is one. Regardless, I'll buy some of this and try it. Thanks for the heads up.

Amazon.com has some decent prices.
A few times a year the shopping network QVC does a special value of the day on Wen...they probably sell it on the web site too but their special values are really good.
Once in a while QVC will have the gallon value size.

Are you using just the shampoo? Or are you using also using WEN conditioner and/or volumnizer?
Where did you get the product?
Thanks!
I'm using just the conditioner. They don't make shampoo. I really don't see the need to use any of their other products at the moment, but I might try them at a later date. Right now I'm just using the Sweet Almond Mint conditioner which I bought on Amazon.
The 32 oz. option isn't up anymore, but here is a link to the 16 oz. bottle of the same conditioner that I bought:
Wen Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner
I have used WEN for years and will also use nothing else. It is a cleansing conditioner, one product. You apply to wet hair, rinse, repeat. Use one pump for leave in. The Cheapest place to get by far is QVC.com. The pomegranite is a good one to try if you're not sure. I also use Ojon RareBlend oil, available on Ojon.com. Good luck, SJ
Hi Jarvis,
I am happy to hear that Wen lives up to it's claims! I will be sticking with my Suave products though. I can't quite afford the price of Wen unfortunately. Thanks for the report.
