Well, within the last week my hair has started to go a bit more down, than out. That's a welcomed change. We shall see how long it lasts. I have also started experimenting with different products.
As a result, when I look up I can actually see my hair, and it has started to lay on my collar. Both of those are first in my entire life as far as I know.
Hi Steve,
You have nice thick hair to work with. It will take some time before it starts to fall down more. But if you give it a chance, your hair will start to fall over your shoulders. It just has to have enough length and weight. I sure hope you stick it out. Just enjoy the journey and the different stages of your hair's growth!

My wife said the same thing. It looks like she is starting to get on board. An excellent development, haha.
As for the change, yes, I'm quite sure it has nothing to do with additional growth. I have been experimenting with different products and washing cycles.
I was used to washing daily to remove hair product, but that's too much. I found that every other day seems to be better, and lets my hair calm down a bit. It looks and feels better, plus it's more manageable.
I have also found that cream based products seem to work better than gels or waxes now. I will likely start to do a monthly update for progress, but hold off until then.
Thanks again!
Hey Kaiju Bacon,
Awesome Hair, Dude!
Are you enjoying your new hair length? Do you feel a little thrill when you realize a new milestone? For example, when you notice that your hair is touching your collar, or when you can look up and see your hair? Soon you will be able to shake your head and feel and see your hair move. Soon you will be able to pull your hair down to touch your nose. Celebrate your new found freedom with your hair and continue to share it with us. We're your bros, your long haired bros.
You said that you are experimenting with new products. IT's great that you are taking pride in your hair and want to keep it neat and groomed. Feel free to ask me for advise. You realize that you will soon be experiencing the "Awkward Stage"; that time when your hair will simple not lay down the way you comb it. It will stick out here and puff out there. We all had to go through this stage. It part of the initiation into long-hairdom. It will pass and when your hair has sufficient weight and volume it will fall nicely and frame your face well. You maybe tempted to cut your hair during the "Awkward Stage". Don't do it! Keep out of barber shops and hair salons. You're a long haired bro now. Whenever you feel like your hair is getting unmanageable and you're getting negative comments about it and you're thinking about cutting it get on this hyperboard and chat with us. Feel free to send me an email. We'll help you through it.
Think about how awesome your hair is going to look as it gets longer and longer. Look forward to the next milestone; eg.: when your hair reaches your mouth and you can bite it, when it begins to touch your shoulders, when touches your nipples, . . . etc. Keep sending us updates of your progress. Let's celebrate your journey together. Welcome to the tribe, bro.
Raymond
