I know it wasn't long since I last sent in a photo, but it really seems to be taking off! For the first time, people in my village are beginning to realise I haven't simply neglected to go to the barber but that I am actually growing it!
Longhairdom is coming!

Looking really excellent, Anthony! Your hair is definitely starting to look longer and fuller now -- I remember the feeling well myself, back when I was growing my own hair out: it's an experience that, although "awkward" at times, is also very exciting to watch (and feel) the progress happening day-by-day.
You're going to have a GREAT summer, I can feel it in the air!!

Many thanks for the kind words. Indeed I take each day as it comes, and this experience is very good for me. We live in a consumer culture in which people want everything yesterday. We are definitely counter cultural, and long hair is definitely the thing I needed to do long ago.
Indeed, summer is going to be interesting if winter has been giving me 3/4 inch per month. The rest of my awkward stage should be relatively brief, perhaps only another 6-7 months. At our age, that time goes too quickly!

Looks great Anthony,
I am glad you are dealing well with the "Awkward Stage," and I am glad your wife is understanding....

Nice Anthony! It appears your ear's have succumbed to the hair, so you can check that off the list ;)

Thank you. Also tickling my shoulders even without the head all the way back. Also people are aware that I'm growing it and haven't simply "neglected to get a haircut".
It all means to me something that many can't imagine!
