So I'm growing my hair but really dislike the length at the minute can't seem to do anything decent with it at all. Determined to carry on, want long hair, just hard finding motivation sometimes.
It looks fine - just let it go... How long have you had short hair? It does take quite a bit of mind adjustments to allow your hair to do it's own thing after keeping it short. If you keep it growing, you will be in for a whole lot of mind hurdles before it is long - and you will hate how you look some days... Those of us who are "short haired" guys need a lot of patience to cross over to the other side.

I fully agree. I have had short hair all my life, but always loathed the buzzcut. So even some people with short hair would consider your current length "too short" for their own style.
You look like you have good hair that will grow out nicely, so just be patient. Soon enough you will really start to look silly... like me. haha

Looks fine to me. You probably have more of a mental block than anything, in that I assume you haven't let your hair grow much at all in the past. Embrace your new look every step of the way, I mean that's what you're doing it for anyway right? Just remember if you cut it you know what it will look like the same as you've always had it. Keep it up!
If you think 3 months is annoying, just wait until you hit the awkward stage where it's too long to be short and too short to be long! It requires perseverance and dedication to get through but for those of us here it's been well worth the aggravation. Your hair type will play a big part in how quick and easy or painful this process will be. Just try not to fight it and be creative with dealing with it's growth. Get used to wearing hats and bandannas. There will be days where you'll hate it, but if long hair is to be in your future, you'll have to avoid the temptation to cut it.
