  For those who are wondering what professions you can go into with
  long hair, this morning when I was driving into work I passed a
  construction site where a policeman was directing traffic. He had long hair (dreadlocks) down to his waist.

  I would also note that lately i've noticed a lot more guys with long hair. And i've noticed a number of guys with bald spots who are growing their hair long anyways.

    It seems that almost all proffesions are accepting of long hair, are there any that would explicitly not allow it or be strongly against it? (excluding military jobs)

    Almost any profession can be performed by a longhair...as long as the chain of command realizes that it is performance that makes a difference, not appearance.

    I say almost any...there must be a job that can only be done by a baldy...I just can't think of it at the moment.
