Hi, I haven't posted here in ages, but for those interested here's what my hair is like nowadays, a bit over floor length now! Not sure if it's still growing though, seems to be at the same length for the last half year.
Freshly out of a braid :)
Hi Hairfreaky,
Yes it seems like forever since you last posted here but hey, better later than never ;)As usual your hair is an absolute work of art.To be able to reach such a length with that density right to the ends is amazing!I can only imagine how you deal with hair that long on a daily basis but by now I'm sure you have that down :)Thanks so much for stopping back and please don't be such a stranger my friend.Cheers
Mârk
WOW!!! That's amazing.
Hi Mark,
Thank you! Dealing with this hair isn't as complicated as many seem to think, at least not for me. I'm sure I wouldn't have the patience if it would require a lot of work!
Hi hairfreaky,
Wow! All I can say is your hair is awesome! I love the color and waves! I am truly inspired to keep growing now! I do thank you for posting this pic! Please stay well my friend!
Ted
Hi Ted,
Thank you and do keep growing at all means ;)
Hi hairfreaky,
I shall do that my friend!

Just amazing. Your hair is the longest I have ever seen on a male. Next time you shed a really long strand, measure it. You will find some exceed 1.8 meters long for sure. (My longest shed strand measured 1.26 meters.)
Scott
Hi Scott, I don't find many very long hairs, they are the ones that rarely fall out ;) The longest I ever found was 172 cm but I haven't looked for them actively. The longest hairs grow on the back of my scalp, so they may be just around 180 or 185 cm.
In my case I can only dream what it would be to have hair like
that. Probably would be more than I could handle but it would
be nice just to try it once. For its length you have some very
awesome hair, looks very healthy throughout its entire length.
Definitely must take some dedication on your part.
Thank you, well you get used to every length as the growing process is slow enough, for me handling isn't such a big deal. Patience is what you need most...
Hi Hairfreaky,
What an awe inspiring mane you are blessed to own, and I can only dream about having hair like yours.
Thank you for sharing,
David
Hi David, thank you and you're welcome!
Let me guess: Nobody EVER confuses you with anyone else!
That mane definitely sets you apart. Awesome.
Bill
Hi Bill, very few people know it's real length since I haven't had my hair down in public for years. I always wear it in a bun which doesn't attract much attention even though it's quite large ;)
Haha, thanks, to each its own! I never expected mine to get this long either though
I found you on facebook and I always enjoy seeing a picture of you come along my news feeed... but, extra glad to see you here among friends and admirers...
Fitz
Hi Fitz, glad you found me on facebook! Haven't been here for a very long time, hopefully I can contribute a little again
I am frends with you on facebook. I didn't know you post here. I wish my hair was that long.
Well as I said I haven't posted for a long time! ;) Cool that you found me on facebook. Your hair looks great, keep growing!
I've seen your other pictures on Flickr and always admired your hair. Great to see you posting here.
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks! :)
Wow, what an incredibly looooooong mane Hairfreaky! Keep it growing for every cm its worth, and be careful on steps!
That's what I'm doing! ;) I know the danger of stairs ;)
Hi!
I've always been a huge admirer of you fantastic mane over the years on the internet. It's fantastic! How long did it take you to reach that length? Any trouble with your S.O. or at work?
A.D.
Good to hear :) I started growing some 17 years ago but I had some cuts in the meantime. No problems with it, since I always wear it in a bun, which makes it as easy to handle as any length of hair ;)
Fantastic as always!
Thanks! :)
Absolutely AWE-INSPIRING, hairfreaky, you have a truly amazing head of hair!!!!!
I so admire guys who make a commitment to grow their hair as long as possible, AND take such excellent care of it! And I also agree with your comment to one of the guys who replied to you: yes, I also find that growing and maintaining my own hair is not as difficult as some may think it to be, thanks to having it back in a bun or braid most of the time -- although your "man-bun" is probably twice the size of mine (LOL)....
It also sounds like you've reached your own terminal length, as the way you describe how your hair hasn't grown any longer recently is the same experience I've had myself for the past 3 or more years (mine reaches a few inches past belt-length; but hey, I'm an old geezer, so am grateful to achieve that much- LOL).
Quick question: Do you live in Denmark? The reason I ask is that my step-mom's 3rd husband was Danish, and she made a couple of trips over there (and LOVED it!) before both she and her husband passed on a few years ago. We still keep in touch with Knud's daughter-in-law, who will be visiting here in California this fall. I somehow got the impression that you were Danish, or at least Scandinavian, which is why I'm curious.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post here, sharing both your comments and photo, it is truly very inspiring -- and I have enjoyed watching your YouTube videos over the years, to boot!

WOWEEE that's amazing, like a true viking :)
first thing that popped into my mind is are you going to go for any world records?
