I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had some concerns about working in the deep South with long-hair. Well, there was just no reaction at all. I was on a Homeland Security Campus with lot of Swat Team types (all neat, trim and buzzed)with no negative vibes.
Now having said that...Living in near 100% humidity and daily rain turned my fur into a completely uncontrollable ball of fuzz ! Yuk..
I am headed back to my beloved desert today where I will get the mess under control again.
Have a great day all

Hi Walter,
Hmmm, that was a shorter adventure than I thought for you figuring you'd be there for the summer.Well nice to hear that no negative hair comments were sent your way but I imagine those people you were around had more important issues to deal with.I hear ya about the humidity as its been rainy like all week here on the east coast.Thankfully tomorrow things are going to get nicer :) Yes, another reason why west coast living sounds more appealing to me;) Cheers

Folks in the deep south can't complain about long hair because if they do they also have to complain about the long hair on their
beloved Duck Dynasty folks. The same with beards.
It's good that you had no problems.
That's really great to hear that your hair is a non-issue in the deep South; but I'm not totally surprised, as I think long hair on men is thankfully not as "shocking" as it was back in our youth...
I-I-I mean, back just a few years ago (like, wasn't the 1960's and '70s "just a few years ago?" - LOL)!
Take care, Walter, always great hearing from you!!
