I would like to wish you all a wonderfully good morning! It is morning here in north-western Europe at least ;)
I wanted to shamelessly try to promote my youtube channel here as well, since you guys are, after all, the reason I even started filming my hair updates and documenting the journey online.
Been filming the videos for about a year, and even then, I was already at 9 months, the phase I am at now (again).
Fun stuff.. would love to hear your thoughts for those of you not familiar with my journey and story :)

Raul, you are looking good as usual. So when are you going to

First off buddy, thanks for the long hair at heart comment! I truly am, and wholeheartedly yearn for feeling it down my face, shoulders and back again... someday, that day WILL be here :)
I actually like having that god-awful shaved apea of an avatar picture here, since it shows the drastic change my hair has gone through since last september! Don't think I will change it anytime soon, perhaps at the 1 year mark at most to show growth from there.
And when it comes to ink and space on my body, I would dare say I only have about 15%-20% tattooed, so there's still PLEEENTY to go, my friend!
As soon as my sleeves are perfect, it's time to attend the back, then chest, then legs... yeah, there's always something that needs inking ;)
Appeciate it if you took the time to check my channel out! The more subscribers, the more comments and activity, and the more people I can help inspire to grow their hair long :)
Okay, since I didn't want to spam the board with another topic, here are some pics I took today to show my progress so far.
I greatly encourage all others who might have started or re-started growing their hair again around this time, to post some pictures as well for comparison and encouragement :)
PS- Keep in mind I have been trimming the back short for the first 7 months or so, that is why it is so short in that area.

Here's my latest for the "September 2013 Haircut Club". My hair is so white it dazzles the camera when I use the flash. It gives some idea of my back hair touching my clothes collar without my tipping my head back.
The photo below was taken in August 2011, but I buzzed it in exactly this way until September 2013.

Raul, what happened to your beard after you asked for beard growing tips about a month ago?
It looks like you are deeply carving your facial hair and not letting it grow out full and natural like your head hair.
What happened, my good man, is that I simply cannot manage a bushy upper lip. As simple as that.
As soon as it starts to thicket, and I can't really feek my skin through my hair, can't feel a towel really drying it up, and I can't even feel my girls face when kissing her... it drives me instane.
Beard was just an experiment, and it will proabably make many more comebacks. Hair is so much easier and lovelier to manage, despite everything ;)
Hey man, glad to see the update, congrats on coming back around to 9 months. Just think of it as the last time you'll have to visit 9 months of growth :)
I'm still digging the videos and the photos are great too! That is too funny on the September 2013 club you guys mentioned!
I'm hoping to post an update of my own soon, month to month doesn't seem all that different but I know I'm making progress still! Maybe I'll just wait until 2 years, hmmm what do you think?

One of the joys of coming here to MLHH is seeing posts like this, from all parts of our amazing little blue planet, and reading your comments from Norway from earlier today, while I get to reply from the western edge of the North American continent only a few hours later...
