Hi All,
Here's what I look like after about 18 months. I decided to let my hair grow, again, around the first of the year in 2013. During the first six months or so I had of couple of trims. After last summer, I haven't trimmed except around the ears/sideburns and the nape of the neck.
Below are some comparison photos that I took along the way.
In general it's been great, and I'm looking forward to adding several more inches. I'm almost near to the longest I've ever kept my hair before. On the other hand, I've had some periods of frustration and doubt, just taking it two weeks (heh) at a time.
Anyway, thanks for looking.

Congrats on making it to (almost) the 18 month mark!
I really think that long hair suits you very well, and the pictures are easily supporting this claim, looking great! :)
How long do you think you'll go?
Thanks Raul. To the extent that I have a goal, it's mid-back. I've never made it that far before, not that I couldn't have, but I started trimming after it reached about the length I am now. So this time I'm going to avoid the scissors, except for light cleanups around the edges.

Thanks Ken! It's good to hear because that's what I mostly hear from long-hair critics ("you have great hair/why are you doing this?")
I know, it doesn't make sense to me either....

I think you look much healthier and younger with your hair long, it does wonders for your face keep up the great work!

You have a strong, masculine look and the long hair looks great. You are through the worst of it now... it's time to enjoy your hair and let it grow.
We are in the same time frame / length process.

Thanks Fitz.....that's what I'm feeling too: that the worst is over or nearly over, and I believe its going to get better & better too. I hope we're both checking in at two years and beyond.
