A strange thing happened yesterday that had never happened before.
I was shopping at a local supermarket, I was in the mens room using the urinal when a guy walked in, saw me from the back and commented "Ma'am this is the mens room." He apologized when he saw me from the front. I found the whole thing amusing, after all my hair is was loose, about five inches above waist length,
and I was wearing my usual cut off shorts.
So i'm taking it as a compliment. I find it amusing.
This has happened before in other areas of a store or other place of business but this is the first time for me in the mens room.
You were using the URINAL? Sounds like a guy who, when asked his IQ, can show it using his fingers.
Bill
Amazingly enough yes.
I've had that happen before too while using the urinal.
I even had an older gentleman come up to me after we were both out of the restroom to tell me that he thought I was a woman from behind at first due to my hair. Then he continued to tell me that all of his sons had long hair at one time. I don't know why he felt compelled to tell me all of this in front of my wife and son.
I just said in return, "My hair must be looking nice today if it lead you to think a woman was standing using a urinal. I thank you for the compliment"
He just looked a little confused, but he smiled :-)
I've noticed men stalling when they open the door and see my hair. Sometimes I hear them back out and check the sign on the door before reentering.
I've never had that happen before. Now this is a store where long hair on guys is not unusual. This particular store has lots
of guys with long dreadlocks.
