Hey people ! Its been a long time since the last time I posted here. I hope some of you still remember me!
Its very rainy down here in Argentina , cold outside so since I had some time I decided to come back here to say hi and give you a hair update and post a few pics that I just took.
Just for those who dont know me, this would be my 2 year update. I started with a very short haircut and ever since I never had a haircut again - I have to admit I just trimmed the ends a few days ago but that was it.
I havent been doing nothing really special to my hair lately... The only thing that might have changed is the number of times I wash my hair. For some reason my hair doesnt last too long without getting greasy so I have to wash it more often.

Of course I remember you as your unforgettable! LOL.Your hair really is looking outstanding as I've always loved jet black straight hair:)I think you've done very well in the two years since you've been growing out.
Right now we are in the midst of summer and even though the humid days leave a lot to be desired I still prefer it over cold winters.Hope all is well with you my friend and hope, maybe we can hear more from you? :) Cheers

I really took care of my hair as much as I could when I started to grow it out. Now I dont even pay that much of attention to its length. I just let it be.

You hair looks in really good health, considering all the treatments it's been through, and I am glad you are enjoying it more than ever! Truly indian style! :)
How long do you plan on growing it, my friend?
Yes, I love the "indian style" haha.
Many people ask me this question but I never stopped to think how longer I am planning to grow it. I will probably stop at waist length and thats because I am not super tall ( I am 1.68 meters) so having super long hair is gonna make me look even shorter haha.

Honestly, I don't do anything to promote hair growth. My hair naturally grows way too fast (thats the main reason why I decided to grow my hair. Keeping my hair short was a pain in the neck and I had to spend a lot of time and money going to the salon every 10 or 15 days because my hair would grow way too fast).
Not sure if I am going for terminal length. I am pretty short (1.68 meters, have no clue how much that is in the American measure) so having super long hair will make me look even shorter, so probably waist length is what I am going for.

Sometimes I do check in here and read the posts just to keep myself updated on everyone, but I had little time to post anything. I've seen your hair update from July 4th too and let me tell you I am loving your hair , as well as the color!

Your hair looks great! And there's nothing wrong with the occasional short trim. I do it also twice a year to ensure my ends are healthy. I also have to wash my hair almost daily due to the "greasy feeling" or my hair being flat in the morning. I use an avocado & olive oil shampoo /cond and it helps greatly!

I had to trim my ends a bit since some of them were damaged and now my hair looks even better. Its amazing how different it can look by getting rid of a few inches of dead dry ends haha.
Looks like you've been taking very good care of it.
Are you planning on evening up the ends at some point?

Thank you so much for your feedback. I dont know if I want to even up the ends yet. I like them to look a bit "messy" haha. Probably when its longer I'll give it a try and even them up just to see how they look.

Yes, that is actually the reason why I chose to grow my hair long. Keeping my hair short required me time and money that I was not willing to spend. I had to get a haircut at least once every 10-15 days. That was ridiculous. But hey, now im not complaining about my hair growth rate !

Thank you! I must admit the color is not natural though haha. My natural hair color is a lot lighter but I like very dark hair because it tends to shine more than lighter hair colors.

Thanks for your nice comment. The reality is I tend to use the best products I can afford . I havent been to the salon in ages so there is nothing professional done on my hair now except for good quality shampoos and conditioners haha.
And yes, the trimming and coloring are all made by me (or my mom, who also helps me color my hair).

Hi Ken!! Thanks for the nice reply. I use different products to get the super shinny effect (in real life it looks even shinier than on photos). Also, having a dark hair color helps a lot because dark colors reflect the light more than lighter hair colors :)

I don't even notice the progress until I take a picture and compare it to my previous ones. Hopefully I am not checking the hair length every single day of my life so letting it be and forgetting about it also helps a lot. One day you wake up, take a look at your hair and you realize it has grown a lot !
