Did anyone else hear start from a completely shaved head? How long after your last hair cut was the hair touching your shoulders, ponytail length?
The perfect opportunity to link my youtube channel, since I re-started growing my hair again last september, after a complete head shave ;)
Hair is already touching my shoulders at the 10 month mark, but I estimate it will take me a full two years to get a real ponytail with 90% of the hair staying put :)

Thanks...I will watch your progress (hope that doesn't sound creepy). The thing is, my last haircut was in February, with a taper fade--pretty much shaved on the sides and back and sort on top. So that's where I'm starting from.
My goal is to no longer than this:
Not sure if the picture will show, but how long do you think it'd take to get there? I have wavy hair though. The man in the pic is my father.
Not at all creepy, that's why it's there, to be watched, and hopefully, to inspire others to embark on their own hair journeys, as well as help to create a community on YouTube around the love of long hair :)
Almost a buzzcut in Feb, and your father in the picture having shoulder length hair, which is thick and wavy (like my own hair)... I would say a good year and a half, my friend :)

The sides and back (from temples down) were almost shaved, maybe a half inch more than what you had, but the top was left longer--I actually had hair on the top.
