...and some are even Intellectuals!...he..he
No, but I've been on this Board for some time
and if I have realized anything it is that
most longhaired men (or those thinking of becoming one)
seem to be very thoughtful Individuals...very Reflective!
Pensive...
...Considerate of other's rights, etc.
There was a time when I would not have trusted a guy with
long hair and now, well...
it's just the opposite!
Anybody have thoughts on this?
After coming to this board, I feel the same way. I think this board consists of very respectful and intelligent people. I'm glad to be here.
The problem with this is, that the long-haired men on this board are not representative (i hope that word exists in english too =) )for all long haired men. Here are only long-haired men that want their hair to look good.
But the long-haired men, that fit into the prejudice some ppl have about long-haired main, don't really care about what their hair looks like.
just my 2 cents

PS: Tell me another expression for "long-haired men" please... I searched and ended up with 5 "long-haired men" in the posting... ;-)
I sometimes say "hippy-head" (as opposed to "hippie-head"), but I guess that they both mean the same thing!-)
"Longhairs", of course, which you need look no further than the title of your own post to find. :-) But there are other expressions we've seen, and it would be fun to work up a list of those we've heard - here's two to start it off:
"Longhaired freaky people" - from "Signs"
"Flyin' the freak flag"
Most long haired-men I have met personally were usually deeper than your average joe. Most of them seem to be a lot deeper into the arts (particularly music). At least that's been my experience.
This board also...most people here are mature and don't get 'homophobic' when talking about hair care. Long hair being analogous to immaturity is definitely a common misperception.
Feel the same bud! Friend at work recently said the same thing to me. He is a longhaired guy as well.
Yeah, I'm thinking that you used my screen name in your post. So I guess I'll reflect on that for a while!
