Hi guys,
I'm pleased to introduce you the new Tech guy on the MLHH board : Mike, aka ESDI-80
He agreed to replace me in this task. You'll see his head appearing in the crew page soon. I'm confident that he fits the job !
Long time no post, I didn't even know the newcomers ! :) I'm fairly busy since few months/ years (here, writing a phd thesis) and I'd definitely like to give up on some responsibilities. I've been one of the "guardians" of the board for some years, time to let go !

Thanks so much for being there for us for several years, Vivien! Nowadays web sites mostly just "keep on working", but guys, when ours doesn't, our tech guy, in the background where few see his work, jumps right in. Our tech guys are our freedom fighters. They keep us free from the Mark Zuckerbergs of the world.
As longhairs, we say, "Ain't nobody gonna own us!" and without tech guys and the others in our management, that would not be possible. Our site is almost always there for us, keeping our community together. We can "blame" Vivien for that!
Our site in Mike's hand should continue to serve us well. Mike has a love for the geeky side of the Internet, and his profession is keeping large groups of web servers on line. Mike does not post a lot, but he's been with us for many years.
May I be one of many to say, "Thank you to you both!"

First and foremost I want to personally thank you for your years of service here at mlhh as even though your job here kept you mostly in the background you still are considered one of the family:) I'm hoping you'll still drop by from time to time but I understand life and time moves on and so do we as a people.Wherever life takes you I'm sure you'll be a great success my friend.Also that you for working with Mike getting him familiar with the operation here. I'm confident he'll serve the community well with his expertise.Finally I'd also like to that are many users who without them this board would be a very boring place. Cheers to all!!!!!
