Hello all!,
I used to post on here ages ago, but then went into hiding. More so that I was using Facebook and collaborating on there. ;-)
Anyway, I though I would say hi, since you probably saw in Vivien's last post that I am now a member of the tech crew. :-)
I still have long hair and hit terminal at 2/3rds down my back years ago. I am pretty much bald on top these days, but I am still not going to cut it. :-)
I am pretty much doing the same geeky things with computers and electronics as well. :-)

I wasn't sure which E-Mail address I am tied to on this board. I used my "Spam" E-Mail address that I use on the net so I don't get my main E-Mail address flooded out as a lot of places on the net love to send spam to any given address that is used.
No worries on helping out, I have the skill set and hate to see the board suffer. ;-)

I would like to extend my hearty welcome to you, and a special thank you for joining our crew to do the technical side of things. I am certainly not that good with computers, especially the high tech stuff, so it is great to have someone on board with the skills to do this work.
I have never been on Facebook, so haven't had the chance to chat with you there, so it is great to hear that you will be posting on the hyoerboard once again.

I can so relate to your desire to not cut your hair. I look at hair-thinning and MPB in this way: my hairline will be the same, regardless of whether I cut it short or keep it long; so why not grow it long, since that's how I like it anyway?
Also, before i forget to say it: thank you so much for being willing to do all the behind-the-scenes work here, we are ALL very grateful!!!

I definitely applaud your decision to keep growing despite thinning hair! I will do the same should I start to thin! Perhaps working with the MLHH board will give your hair a jump start! Now that would be cool! Please keep up your great work and stay well my friend! Much appreciate your work here!

I keep getting told by others to "give up" and cut... people think that balding men with ponys are not good looking...

Also follically challenged with no plans to cut. Although I will also get the occasional "You should cut it off, it makes your bald area look even bigger" or "Long hair doesn't work for you" or "If you're going to start dating again (wife passed away 20 months ago), you will need an "updated" hair style". Whenever these occur (especially the third one), I will come to the site, and read the posts for at least 15 minutes, and any thoughts about caving into the pressures to cut will be gone.
Nice to know I am not the only one balding with long hair. I've been lucky these days that everyone pretty much accepts me for who I am. ;-)
