Hey, Guys. Some of you might still remember me. I've been posting here for two years or so since I started my journey.
Unfortunately, I haven't had a single chance to make updates or even write messages for a long while. Seems like it's almost a year passed since my last update.
My life changed a lot. It became more... Active. And I've become a family guy, yeah :)
I successfully graduated from university. I worked at one huge IT-company here in Ukraine for almost a year. Currently I'm working as a freelancer software (mainly web-) developer as it's more comfortable for me to work from home with a schedule of mine. Implemented a dream of mine and got myself a dog :)
Situation in Ukraine is difficult and unstable. These days my country is fighting for it's consistency and independence.
My hair is still with me. Although it's a bit shorter than at the pic I'm showing right here. I'm putting a pic of mine from a period of 3 months ago. Three weeks ago I got some kind of a haircut. My hair is just a bit below my shoulders now. One length cut :) So it's still long (yeah, below shoulders) and I'm going to let it grow till the middle of my back again. The reason is pretty simple: I wanted to wear my hair loose. Unfortunately, with greater length (it reached a bit below middle of my back after all) some difficulties come: hair becomes harder to handle. So I mainly had to wear it tied... It was still great, and I loved it, but damn, I couldn't enjoy my hair at it's full at that length. So I decided to return to a previous stage, where it was still long (I'm a longhair at my heart, simply can't imagine myself getting a shorter cut again) and I could comfortably wear it loose. Maybe some day later I'll give it a chance to grow till a waste-length. It was a bit below middle of my back and it was still growing, almost without showing any thinning at the ends.
I'm enjoying my hair. Long hair has become a part of me, that's for sure. A natural part of myself. It's the way I feel and sense the world. So... Onward and downward! The journey still goes on. Although it's pretty hard to name it a 'journey' this time. It's my life and it's a part of me, after all.
Here's how I looked approximately 3 months ago.
Later on I'll try to make a pic of myself from a day today :)
I hope everyone I knew is fine and in a good health. Would be glad to hear from you, guys.
Thanks.
Serge.
Serge, old friend... would you hold it against me if I said to you now what I said to you a year ago, and even before that? ABSOLUTELY BEST HAIR on the MLHH by far! Man, dude... I would give my left testicle for hair genes like yours! WOW!
I was thinking about you when hearing and reading about all the unsettling happenings in the Ukraine, and I am releived to hear you and your loved ones are safe.
I hope life keeps on smiling on you, and that you keep enjoying your marvelous long hair for years to come!
Hang in there in Ukraine. There is a lady in the parish whose mother had to move from Donestk to Kharkiv to escape the violence. God-willing you remain safe. Many years.

Hey Sergii,
I remember you, bro.
Like your country, have you found consistency and independence? You are a long hair. You're one of us. We embrace you.
Let's see how your hair looks now. Keep it growing and let it grow to terminal length. Tie it back when you have to keep it looking "professional" and let it go freely when you can.
I'm glad to see that you're back.
Your long haired bro,
Raymond
Hi Serge.
I wish you & citizens of Ukraine all the best in your battles for independence. From all the news reports that we get here in North America, the violence is now a daily occurrence, especially in the east part of your country. Hope it all gets resolved soon without too many casualties so that you remain a stable & united country.
Regarding your hair, I have also decided to cut it to one length a few years ago as my hair is fairly thin. In retrospect, I think it was the best decision I have ever taken! My hair is now to close to mid back, looking thicker and healthier as ever. I'm sure you will realize the same thing in 24 months when it reaches mid back! You'll love it!

Hi Serge,
Thanks so much for checking in and updating us here! I think of you daily when watching the news and seeing the situation in the Ukraine! I hope and pray that there is a satisfactory resolution to that. Your hair is looking great and will only look better with more length! Congratulations on graduating university and please stay safe and well my friend!

Hi Serge,
Thank you for stopping in, and your hair looks excellent here. I will be looking forward to your updated photo as well.
Congrats on your graduation, and for everything. Also, my thoughts are with you about the difficult situation in your country, and please stay safe.
Take care,
David
It is good to hear from you, Serge, although hard to believe that it's been a year since you checked in. The hard times in your country are difficult for us to comprehend but as the others have said, our thoughts and our hearts are with you there where you are. This is one great thing about our connection here - we can become personally connected to men we would not ever know otherwise. So, my concerns for your safety and security are sent to you today.
As the others have said, your hair looks great. You are a nice looking young man, well suited for long hair. And, congratulations on achieving your dream and bringing a dog in to share your home...
Best wishes,
Fitz
Hey Serge,
Good to see you back! I always thought your hair is one of the best on this site, and it continues to be that way. I really look forward to seeing your next set of pics and I hope that's in the next few weeks? With the situation in the Ukraine I would like to wish you all the best and hope you and your family stay safe.
Welcome back, Sergii
Looking great and congrats on the new life!

Hi Sergii,
Thanks for the great update, it's really nice hearing from you!!
I've found that many different hair lengths have various advantages / disadvantages, the only length that I truly DON'T like having is when my hair is a traditional-looking short men's hairstyle; but hey, that's probably obvious, or I wouldn't be here (LOL)!
Thanks again for stopping by, it's always great to hear from you!

Serge,
I think you have the best hair on the board. Perfect! I understand the trim. I'm considering it at the end of the year. I've been following the occurrences in Ukraine. Stay safe and keep growing.
