I would like to say that I feel sorry for not posting often around here on the board, but I read your posts everytime I can and it's awesome to see the support you guys give around here for the new members.
Well, today, August 9, it's a special day to me, not only I'm reaching the 1 year and 6 months mark (18 months) without a single haircut, but today it's my birthday too, I'm turning 20, but I'm not feeling happy about that, because I already spent 2 years doing nothing, only trying to take care of my store, living in the same roof with my father.
Besides that, yesterday I received a call from a employer saying that he liked my Resumé and if we could do an interview on the Monday, I wish everything goes right on this interview but, if the subject changes to the "hair" thing, getting a haircut to get on the corporation standards, I'm leaving.
The situation with my parents around here is slowly changing a little bit, my mother is getting more supportive for me growing my hair but my father, well, this one didn't changed a bit since the last time I told you guys about him on the other posts, sometimes even calling me names or shouting to everyone on the street that I look like a homeless, just for trying to get me pissed off and cut my hair, but I'm not going to do it, maybe one day he'll stop but when this day arrives, it's already gonna be late.
About the hair, well how can I say? Every month that passes I'm feeling better than ever, even my mother is giving me tips for my hair now, and one of those that she said to me is for stopping combing my hair backwards (I always combed my hair that way since I had short hair) and start to combing it down, because when it gets dryed, it's going to look different that was months ago. Doing this, I must say that now I can really see the true lenght of my hair, I wasn't even noticing that was already this long.
Remember, any other tips you can offer to me is welcome.
Hi Guilherme,
Happy late birthday! This is a wonderful update and your hair looks awesome! Just keep staying away from the barbershop and you will be fine! Hopefully the employer will not worry about your hair and give you a chance. Glad to hear your Mom is starting to understand more now. Please keep it growing and flowing! I look forward to your future updates!

Thanks for the kind words, I went to this interview and everything was flowing well, they didn't said anything about my hair and they liked my resumé, so he said in a few weeks he maybe give me a call for the second stage of the interview, I hope he make that call quickly, need a job urgently.
As for saying barbershop, my cousin paid me a visit yesterday in my office and he told me that he's learning and getting specialized for cutting hair, in a couple of months, he's going to turn a Barber and going to open a barbershop soon, it was a kinda weird conversation between us two (the one who doesn't cut his hair and the other one that wants to cut people's hair) it was funny by the way, even offered me to trim my hair when I want, once he gets specialized.
I'm not going to lie to you but sometimes, I got bad dreams just about this subject, cutting my hair and in the majority of those bad dreams, the main character is my father and I can't explain, those bad dreams are very weird.
Cheers
Great update, Guilherme!
I like how your hair parts easily down the middle now, looks very very good!
Just keep on doing what you've been doing, you're going to have a terrific-looking haed of hair!!!
